Graco's Child Car Seat Safety Notice

Graco has issued a voluntary recall for select SnugRide Turn & Slide rotating child car seats due to a structural concern identified during post-production lab testing.

The affected car seats were sold between January and March 2026 at major retailers, including Amazon, Babylist, Target, and Walmart.

What to Do Next

If you bought a Turn & Slide car seat, take these next steps.

  • Verify Your Model: Locate the white label on the car seat base to find the model number, date of manufacture, and serial number.
  • Register for a Swap: Visit the Graco website to enter your model information and register for a free replacement product.
  • Wait for More Info: Graco advises owners to wait for recall confirmation before disposing of the seats.

The Battle to Find Sports on TV

For many sports fans, the challenge of the game has moved from the field to the remote control.

As broadcast rights fragment across various TV networks and streaming services, following a specific team during their season—like the New York Yankees—becomes a full-time chore, writes Jim Willcox.

Sports Streaming Strategies

  • Navigate the Platforms: Be prepared to switch between various services to watch sports, from cable to streaming.
  • Eye the News: In 2024, Roku signed a multiyear deal for the rights to "MLB Sunday Leadoff," an 18-game package available on the company’s free, ad-supported service.
  • Follow the Schedule: Willcox texted his wife a link to the Yankees broadcast schedule so it’s easier to track where to watch.

It’s also a good time for some TV hardware maintenance. Following our guide on cleaning your flat-screen TV with a microfiber cloth can help keep your view of the action sharp and smudge-free.

Step Into Productivity

Under-desk treadmills, or walking pads, offer a way to stay active during the workday.

While we recently highlighted a few good options, we’d advise against buying models that aren’t on our list—our tests have revealed problems with numerous models in the past.

Stride Scrutiny

  • Follow Our Testing: We assess build quality by running a large metal spinning drum on each treadmill’s belt for 12 hours.
  • Look for Trusted Brands: Smaller companies and unknown brands could fall short in manufacturing and customer service. Be wary of fake Amazon reviews, too.
  • Consider Drawbacks: Many walking pads performed poorly due to shoddy construction, poor ergonomic fit, or safety concerns.
