Performance: Overall this desktop's performance was excellent. Compared to other tested desktops, it was among the fastest with common tasks such as web browsing and video conferencing. Applications start up almost instantly. It was fast when composing documents with images, calculating large data spreadsheets, and running other productivity tasks, and its speed was adequate for manipulating filters on images, converting and editing videos, and rendering models and calculating simulations.
Ergonomics: The desktop is bundled with a keyboard and mouse. Its features were well-designed, and it was comfortable and convenient to use. The keyboard and mouse are both wireless, adding to convenience when placing them. Keyboard letters were high contrast and easy to read, and its keys were comfortably sized. Keyboard features such as media playback and volume control keys add convenience. The keys on the keyboard are slightly concave, making it more comfortable to type on. The mouse has a low-profile design, and has a scroll wheel. You can't easily replace the storage drive. The power button is not in a convenient location, and is either hard to access, or easy to press accidentally. The case has no LED indicator for hard disk activity.
Display: The display quality was Very Good overall. Colors were accurately reproduced, realistic, and natural looking. The desktop's display was brighter than most and it's anti-reflective, a plus for viewing in a brightly lit room. The display has a wide viewing angle, especially important if more than one person needs to see the screen at a time, say, for a video or presentation. Its display has worse contrast than on most other tested all-in-ones.
Useful features and attributes on this model include: The spacious 1TB of hard drive space offers plenty of room for storing your music, photos, and movies. The display is a touchscreen that allows a convenient way to interact and navigate using the screen. You can connect common external devices such as hard drives and Blu-ray burners using USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbps). Gigabit Ethernet provides fast transfer of data over a local network. Video outputs include: an HDMI full-size port; these are useful for connecting to an HDTV or separate monitor.
Downsides: There's no optical drive like a CD or DVD reader, so you'll have to buy an external drive if you need one.
