Performance: Overall this desktop's performance was excellent. Compared to other tested desktops, it was among the fastest with common tasks such as web browsing and video conferencing. Applications start up almost instantly. It was among the fastest when composing multiple documents with images, calculating large complex data spreadsheets, and running other demanding productivity tasks, and its speed was adequate for manipulating filters on images, converting and editing videos, and rendering models and calculating simulations. In addition, demanding video games will show smooth graphics and have a quick response. With hybrid graphics, the computer can dynamically switch to the dedicated graphics card when a performance boost is needed for demanding games or applications. Everyday tasks, like web browsing or playing videos, will default to the integrated graphics chip, which is more power efficient and can reduce noise.
Ergonomics: The desktop is bundled with a keyboard and mouse. Its features were well-designed, and it was comfortable and convenient to use. The keyboard and mouse are both wireless, adding to convenience when placing them. Keyboard letters were high contrast and easy to read, and its keys were comfortably sized. Keyboard features such as media playback and volume control keys add convenience. The mouse has a low-profile design, and has a scroll wheel. You can't easily replace the storage drive. The power button is in a convenient location that is unlikely to be pressed accidentally.
Display: The display quality was Excellent overall. Colors were accurately reproduced, realistic, and natural looking. The desktop's display was brighter than most and it's anti-reflective, a plus for viewing in a brightly lit room. The display has a wide viewing angle, especially important if more than one person needs to see the screen at a time, say, for a video or presentation.
