Performance: Overall this desktop's performance was only fair, well below that of many models but still good enough for routine tasks like email, word processing and web browsing. Compared to other tested desktops, performance was okay but on the slow side for common tasks such as web browsing or video conferencing. You would notice this most when opening up applications. Performance was okay but on the slow side when composing documents, working on data spreadsheets, and running other productivity tasks, and it was so slow that it was difficult to manipulate images, edit videos, and calculate simulations.
Ergonomics: The desktop is bundled with a keyboard and mouse. It had well-designed features that made it comfortable or convenient to use. Keyboard letters were high contrast and easy to read, and its keys were comfortably sized. Keyboard features such as volume control keys add convenience. The keys on the keyboard are slightly concave, making it more comfortable to type on. The corded mouse has a scroll wheel. The storage drive can be easily replaced. The power button is in a convenient location that is unlikely to be pressed accidentally. The case has no easily viewed LED indicator for CD activity.
Useful features and attributes on this model include: You can connect common external devices such as hard drives and Blu-ray burners using USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gbps). Downsides: No significant negative features.
