With recent version iPhones, our experts found it very easy to pair, somewhat difficult to synch, very easy to interact with, and likewise for recent version Android phones, very easy to pair, somewhat difficult to synch, and very easy to interact with. It is somewhat easy to attach to the body, and claims to be water resistant down to 164 feet; however, we confirmed it is water resistant down to 98 feet.

The Misfit Shine is a clip-on based fitness tracker with a 1.1 inch LED display, compatible with iOS, Android and includes, step counting, sleep tracking, calories. The manufacturer claims a battery life of 6 months. It is available in gray, jet black, topaz, champagne colors. It has a 3-axis accelerometer sensor. It has extra features such as: a magnetic clamp allowing the tracker to be worn anywhere on your body. Included wrist strap allows the tracker to be worn as a watch. Uses a replaceable CR2032 coin cell. Included accessories: magnetic clasp for clip-on use, sports watch band. Its dimensions are 1.1 x 0.3 inches (width/thickness) and it weighs 0.4 ounces.
