Design and features:The Sound Reality ATH-CKR35BT has an integrated microphone and music player and call connect/disconnect controls for use with paired Bluetooth devices. This model comes with four pairs of ear pieces in various sizes, a USB charging cable, and a carrying bag.
Sound quality: We found the Sound Reality ATH-CKR35BT delivers sound quality that falls in the Good range - it reproduces music and voice reasonably well despite the obvious shortcomings in its sound. The overall sound can best be summarized as somewhat washed out and somewhat bassy. Bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and goes fairly deep, but is slightly to somewhat prominent and boomy depending on how they fit in your ears. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is fairly even, but is somewhat hazy and grainy, and a bit constricted (as in straightjacketed) and congested (think sonic traffic jam). The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is subdued somewhat smeared (sounds that should have a delicate shimmer sound blurred). While the sound has a decent sense of liveliness, it is somewhat closed-in (sound-wise it is somewhat obvious that you have something plugging your ears) and it only does a so-so job of recovering the room ambience of a recording (the sense of the acoustic space in which the audio program that's being listened to was recorded).
Comfort: As typical of in-ear models they produce a sense of pressure in the ear canal opening that might be uncomfortable for some. They fit and stay in place with no problem for casual use by users with small and medium sized ear canals, but users with larger ear canals might not be able to get a good seal (which affects the sound quality by reducing the bass) or a secure fit. The sound of the earphone connecting cable rubbing on clothing may be transmitted by the earphones.
