Design and features:The Trainer TH100/27 has an integrated microphone and built-in volume, music player function, and call connect/disconnect controls for use with Bluetooth paired devices. Additional features include flashing LED on the rear of the headband that increases wearer visibility under low light conditions, a secondary headband for increased stability, a monitor button that mutes the audio program output and picks up ambient sounds so you can better here what's going on around you, NFC Bluetooth pairing, and manufacturer claimed water resistance. This model comes with a USB charging cable and a storage bag.
Sound quality: We found the Trainer TH100/27 delivers sound quality that falls in the good range - it reproduces music and voice reasonably well despite the obvious shortcomings in its sound. The overall sound can best be summarized as full, bassy, and muffled. Bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact and goes deep, but is prominent an boomy. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is fairly even, but somewhat muffled. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is slightly subdued, and the upper treble is a bit muted. While the sound has a decent sense of liveliness it is closed-in -- sound-wise it is obvious that you have something covering your ears.
Comfort: We found that these earphones produce a moderately high sense of pressure on the ears and are very stable even with vigorous head movement. The ear pads might feel hot after prolonged use.
