Design and features:

Although this portable ear-insert model lacks active noise reduction, the earplug-like design helps to reduce both outside noise and sound leaking out into your environment. The earphones have very high sensitivity, so they can provide satisfying volume levels even with lower-powered portable audio devices. This model comes with three pairs of earpieces in various sizes, and a carrying bag.

Sound quality:

The SE112 delivers very good, straightforward, hype-free sound, with a warm character. Bass has good impact and goes fairly deep, but is slightly boomy. Midrange is a bit hazy, and treble has good detail but is a bit recessed. The overall sound has good dynamics, with a somewhat open-sounding midrange, but it lacks treble air.

Comfort and Fit:
The earphones' cables are intended to be looped over and behind the ears. We found that these earphones fit and stay in place with no problems, but they produce a sense of pressure in the ear opening that might be uncomfortable for some.
