The Fitbit Versa is a smartwatch compatible with iOS and Android and includes real-time heart-rate monitor, steps, sleep, and calories. It has a touchscreen display but lacks always-on display capability. It has an on-screen battery indicator, phone notifications and vibration alerts. It includes inactivity alerts that remind you to move if you are sitting for a long time, can control playback of music stored on your smartphone and can control playback of music stored on your watch. Although Fitbit ionic comes with limited pre-loaded apps: Pandora, Strava, Fitbit Coach, Weather, Deezer, Starbucks and Relax (for guided breathing sessions), they have increased their apps to include NYTimes, Philip Hue Lights, Switchr, Barcodes, 2048, Yelp, and more, with Pandora you have to pay for the upgraded version to use it as you need a paid subscription to Pandora and a Wi-Fi connection to download stations, has 500 watch faces, has female health tracking, Versa doesn't have built-in GPS, its connected GPS feature works with the GPS sensors on your nearby phone to give you real-time pace and distance information as well as a map of your route, the Versa is missing both NFC payments and Fitbit Pay which are only available on the Special Edition for which you'll have to pay extra. It has multi-sport tracking features: running, biking, swimming, weights, interval workout, workout, tennis, bootcamp, stairclimber, elliptical, walking, yoga, spinning, golf, hiking. martial arts, circuit training, and treadmill.
