These earphones have medium sensitivity so they can provide satisfying volume levels when used with home audio equipment and all but the lowest-powered portable audio devices. The E1001 Triple Driver has an integrated microphone and music player function control that are compatible with iPads, some iPods, and some iPhones and some other cellphones. The call connect/disconnect button can be used with some iPhones and some other cellphones. These earphones may not operate properly with some non-Apple/non-Android mobile devices or other audio equipment. This model comes with nine pairs of ear pieces in various sizes and types, a mini-plug-to-airplane-jack adapter, a removable shirt clip, and a carrying case.

Sound quality:

We found the E1001 Triple Driver delivers sound quality that falls in the excellent range; while no headphone is perfect, the sonic shortcomings of this model are minor. The overall sound can best be summarized as fairly clear and nicely balanced. Bass (as in bass drums, bass guitars, stand-up bass, etc.) has good impact, detail, and goes deep, but is slightly prominent. The midrange (voices, guitars, horns, etc.) is fairly even but a touch hazy and grainy. The treble (cymbals, the upper range of violins, etc.) is extended but slightly uneven - the mid treble is a bit prominent while the upper treble is a bit subdued. The sound has a good sense of liveliness and is somewhat open (sound-wise it almost seems like you don't have anything plugging your ears). The sound is very similar to that of the 1MORE Quad Driver, but the bass and treble are not as even.

Comfort and Fit:
We found that these earphones fit and stay in place with no problem, but they produce a sense of pressure in the ear opening that might be uncomfortable for some.

These iPod/cellphone-centric earphones have a 50-inch audio cord with a modified stereo, 4-contact mini-plug that works with iPods, iPads, iPhones, and some cellphones, but may not be compatible with other audio devices. The earphones have an inline microphone and inline remote with and integrated volume, music player function, and call connect/disconnect controls. It is covered by a 12-month warranty.
