Black Friday deals on robotic vacuums can lead to cleaner floors.

If you’ve been eyeing a robotic vacuum—or thinking of gifting one—the next few weeks might be the time to take the plunge.

Between now and Cyber Monday, you’re likely to see a wide array of options on sale at some of the best prices to be had all year.

“Expect a lot of ads for robotic vacuums featuring new products from brands such as Shark, Ecovacs, and iRobot, as well as great deals on earlier-generation models,” says Debra Mednick, director of market analysis at Consumer Reports.

We combed through the holiday ads released so far, and for now, we’ve found the best deals at Best Buy, Home Depot, and Kohl’s. We’ll continue our search as new ads appear, and we’ll update this article throughout November.

Many retailers seem to be discounting the same model to a nearly identical price, but don’t forget that you can always ask for a price match if you see the vac you want advertised at a lower price elsewhere.

More on Vacuums

Before we get to the deals, take note: Robotic vacuums, as a category, are meant for maintenance cleaning only—they can’t clean as deeply as an upright or a canister vacuum. But if you have small messes that occur frequently (say, crunched up leaves by your front door or constant shedding from a pet), a robotic vacuum can help manage your cleaning on a day-to-day basis.

To determine which robotic vacuums deliver the best results, we put these little devices through a series of tough tests. To see where the models below rank, see our complete robotic vacuum ratings.

Below, a collection of the best Black Friday deals we’ve seen, listed alphabetically (not in rank order). Happy shopping—and cleaning.

Ecovacs Deebot M88
The deal
$330 at Best Buy
Savings: $50
This isn’t the cheapest robot you’ll find on sale, and the discount isn’t huge—but the Deebot sits high in our robotic vacuum ratings. The Deebot M88 earns an Excellent rating for bare floors, and it also performs fantastically on our navigation test. As for noise, you’ll barely notice this robot roaming around on your floors. If you like to program your bot, you can do so via the Ecovacs app, which also allows you to tell the bot to charge or spot clean, among other things.

iRobot 690
The deal:
$229 at Lowe's in store from Nov. 22 to Nov. 28
Savings: $145
Though it’s an older generation, the iRobot 690 is still a solid choice as a robotic vacuum. It’s also available at one of the lowest prices you’ll find for a robotic vacuum of this caliber. In our tests it earns an Excellent rating for carpet cleaning, and it comes with a carrying handle so that you can move this bot easily from place to place.

iRobot 890
The deal:
$400 at Home Depot and $400 at Best Buy
Savings: $100
The iRobot 890 is a top performer, and for just a little bit more than what the 690 (above) costs, you can have a newer-generation robotic vacuum, still at a decent price. This model edges out the 690 in our bare-floors test, earning a rating of Excellent, and it’s quieter than the model above.

Neato Botvac D5 Connected
The deal:
 $425 at Best Buy
Savings: $150
This is the best Neato robotic vacuum in our ratings, and with this significant markdown, it costs only $25 more than the next-best Neato Botvac D3 Connected. The D5 is voice-compatible, and it earns an Excellent rating in our bare-floors test. You can download the Neato app and, as with many other robotic apps, you can start, stop, or pause your robot while it’s cleaning if you need to.

Samsung Powerbot R7040
The deal: $400 at Home Depot and $400 at Best Buy
Savings: $100
While the sale price is still on the high end, the Powerbot R7040 is one of the best robotics on the market. It aces our carpet and bare-floors tests, and earns an Excellent on ease of use. It can be programmed using the Samsung Smart Home app on a smartphone.

Shark Ion 720
The deal: $279 at Home Depot
Savings: $70
As a category, robotic vacuums are fairly quiet, but if you’re going for a vacuum you’ll barely notice cleaning, this is the one for you: The Shark Ion 720 earns the highest possible percentage for noise in our tests. It’s also great on bare floors. At $279, it’s about a third of the cost of the top two robotic vacuums in our ratings but still offers great cleaning capability. This robotic vacuum can be programmed by downloading the Shark app to your smartphone.

Shark Ion 750
The deal: $250 at Kohl’s on Nov. 22
Savings: $100
You can currently find the Shark Ion 750 on sale at Home Depot for $300, a $50 savings, but you might want to wait until it’s on sale at Kohl’s for a better deal—so far, this is the most inexpensive robotic we’ve found for Black Friday. Like the 720, the Shark Ion 750 earns an Excellent score for noise. It’s terrific at cleaning bare floors, and it can be programmed to clean your home using the Shark app on your smartphone.
