Cyber Monday, like most everything else, looks different this year, thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.

There are fewer advertised deals than we’ve seen in years past, especially on products that have been in high demand, like large appliances.

Plenty of deals just continued on from Black Friday, and you can still take advantage. Consumer Reports’ experts have been poring over Cyber Monday ads from all the major retailers to find the best prices on products that have scored well in our rigorous lab tests.

You can find impressive sales on cookware, coffee makers, mattresses, and large appliances, as well as tech devices like TVs and headphones.

To reduce the risk of shipping delays, you can also look into curbside or in-store pickup options.

Anolon Copper Stainless Steel Cookware Set

The attractive 10-piece Anolon Nouvelle Copper stainless set has a five-layer metal base, including a copper core that rings the bottom. This set earns a top rating for cooking evenness, and speed of heating in the 6-quart stockpot is solid. Simmering in the saucepan, however, is only so-so, and the eggs needed nudging out of the pan in our food release test.

Cuisinart Green Gourmet Nonstick Cookware Set

This cookware set is one of the top nonstick sets CR has put to the test, and it’s about $50 less than usual in a few places right now. The set aces all CR’s key cooking tests, including evenness and food release. Sauces stay at a low simmer, and the 6-quart Dutch oven quickly brings water to a near-boil. Nonstick durability is a notch below the top. This anodized aluminum set is dishwasher-safe, and oven-safe to 500° F.

      Staub Cocette Dutch Oven

The Staub Cocotte holds 5.5 quarts and is one of the more expensive Dutch ovens in our tests. It earns a solid rating in our browning test, but it’s worth noting that the pot’s dark interior makes it trickier to see whether meat is browning—and to tell how clean the pot is after washing. It weighs 13 pounds, and the cooking surface is 8 inches in diameter.

This model lets you adjust the level of browning, so you can have either light and fluffy waffles or brown and crispy waffles. It has an indicator that alerts you when waffles are ready and a batter cup for exact portioning.

          Ninja BL770 Blender

This blender is currently marked half off for myBestBuy members as part of the retailer’s early access sale. And Macy’s Black Friday ad shows that it’ll be marking it down to $100 there, the week of Thanksgiving.

The Ninja BL770’s a so-called food system because it comes with several attachments and different-sized containers, including a personal to-go cup and food processor bowl. We found it to be very convenient to use, and it earns admirable scores in our blender tasks for puréeing, crushing ice, and making smoothies.

            Ninja Specialty Drip Coffee Maker

If you enjoy crafting specialty coffee drinks like lattes and macchiatos, you’ll love the Ninja Specialty CM401. This drip machine features a built-in milk frother and over-ice and specialty brew modes so you can create any kind of coffee drink you desire. It offers exceptional brew performance in our tests, and its carafe is easy to hold and pour.

              SodaStream Fizzi Soda Maker

The SodaStream Fizzi was already the best budget soda maker in Consumer Reports’ tests before its price was slashed by as much as 49 percent. The Fizzi scores almost as well as the top model in our ratings (the Fizzi One Touch) for making seltzer with a consistent amount of bubbles. It’s among the easiest soda makers to use, too—insert your bottle top in a clamp, push the clamp into place, and push start.

The Fizzi’s bottle caps stay on well when the contents are under pressure. The CO2 injector sits at the top of the water line, so gas entering the bottle doesn’t freeze the water in the nozzle and ice up the works—a problem for some soda makers. You can customize the amount of fizz in your soda simply by pressing the button for longer or shorter times.

If ordering from Kohl’s, you’ll need to enter the code YOUGET20 at checkout to get this discounted price.

                SodaStream Fizzi One Touch

The SodaStream Fizzi One Touch, the only soda maker we evaluated that must be plugged into an outlet, gets our highest marks in every test—and now it’s $30 off at more than one retailer. It has three preset levels of carbonation, each with its own control button that you lightly touch to activate. Because the electric-powered One Touch doesn’t require you to hold down a button or lever, it alone earns our top mark for ease of use, and it’s ideal for someone with limited hand strength.

                  Vacuums and Robotic Vacuums

                  LG CordZero A9 Stick Vacuum

The cordless lightweight LG CordZero A9 gets top marks on all CR performance tests, including an Excellent rating for bare floors. It’s pricey, though—even on sale. It comes with two brushes, one soft roller for hard surfaces, and a brush for carpets. The LG is equipped with two batteries, so you can charge one while vacuuming with the other. The charging stand is self-standing, so there’s no need to hang it on a wall.

Hoover Onepwr Blade Max Stick Vacuum

The cordless Hoover Onepwr Blade Max is an impressive performer in CR’s tests, earning top-notch scores for cleaning bare floors and removing pet hair, and it holds its own on carpet. Plus it zips along the edges of a room, leaving little to nothing behind. The battery has a run time of just over 26 minutes, is replaceable and can be used with any tool in Hoover’s Onepwr suite of products.

                      iRobot Roomba 960

A recent debut from iRobot, the S9+ is the most expensive robovac in our ratings—even on sale. But it’s top-tier in terms of performance, too. It has a self-cleaning bin at its docking station. If you or someone you live with has allergies, that self-emptying bin can help eliminate excess particles reentering the air in your home. Most robotics are quiet when they clean, but our testers note that this model is exceptionally quiet. It also is fantastic at picking up pet hair.

                        Essentia Stratami (Queen)

The Essentia Stratami is currently 25 percent off its full price for  Cyber Monday—one of the highest discounts we've seen.

The Stratami has been one of the top-ranking foam mattresses in CR’s ratings for several years. It’s good at supporting people of all sizes, whether they sleep on their side or back, but it earns the highest marks for supporting petite and average-sized people who sleep on their back.

This mattress meets the two most meaningful organic standards, the Global Organic Latex Standard and the Global Organic Textile Standard.

                          GhostBed GhostBed (Queen)

This online-only mattress-in-a-box retailer is offering a 30 percent discount on the namesake GhostBed and throwing in two free pillows. Amazon has the same mattress for $50 less, if you don’t want or need pillows. Shipping is free for Prime members, but the mattress does not qualify for two-day shipping, so check the estimated arrival date before you order.

The queen-size GhostBed does well in our tests for supporting petites who sleep on their back, and it earns top marks for durability, which means it shows little change in performance after about eight years of simulated use in our tests.

                            Tuft & Needle Mint (Queen)

Tuft & Needle is sold through its website and has walk-in stores in a handful of cities. But you also might find it—and have the opportunity to toss and turn on it together—at a Crate & Barrel store. In our tests, we found that it has better-than-average support for all body sizes—petite, average, large/tall side sleepers and petite, average, large/tall back sleepers.

                              GE Gas Range

The GE JGB735SPSS is a feature-packed gas range with plenty of bells and whistles. It has five burners, including two high-power burners, as well as a built-in griddle. It offers convection and a steam clean setting for smaller messes inside the oven cavity. In our tests, it offered solid performance all around.

                                LG Gas Range

This LG LDG4313ST gas range is among the very best range deals we’ve seen for Black Friday. You almost never see a double-oven range for under $1,000 (most start around $1,500), and based on our tests, this is a particularly good model. In addition to two ovens, the range has a built-in griddle burner; continuous cast iron grates, which make it easy to slide pans across the surface; and convection in both ovens.

At $468, this Samsung NE59M4320SS is nothing short of a steal. It might be low on features, but in our tests, it offers stellar performance. In addition to two high-power burners, it has a stovetop warming element and even convection, which you almost never find in a range at this price.

                                    GE French-Door Refrigerator

The 33-inch GE GWE19JSLSS is an affordable French-door that offers superb performance in our temperature tests. In fact, its only real flaw is that it’s a bit of an energy hog. If you can look past that, this fridge won’t disappoint. It comes in a stainless steel finish with an icemaker, spillproof shelves, a built-in water filter, and uniquely adjustable shelves that you can raise and lower without removing food.

                                      Kenmore Side-by-Side Refrigerator

Looking for a stylish stainless steel side-by-side? This 36-inch model offers strong performance in our temperature tests, and it’s quite energy-efficient. The only downside is that this fridge doesn’t offer many features compared with the competition. Aside from its finish, this fridge’s only notable feature is a through-the-door water/ice dispenser. But if you’re looking only for the basics, this fridge will suit you well.

                                        LG French-Door Refrigerator

Pining for a French-door but worry about the price tag? The LG LFCS22520S is a great option. This 30-inch model costs less than many side-by-sides and bottom-freezers. It also performs quite well in our temperature tests and runs very quietly. The stainless steel fridge has an icemaker, half shelves for better organization, spillproof shelves, and digital controls.

                                          Whirlpool 24-Inch Top-Control Dishwasher

This Whirlpool earns better-than-average ratings for drying and quiet operation, but it takes 145 minutes to finish a normal cycle (that’s on the longer side). This model has ample space for silverware and a third rack on the top for cooking utensils and knives. Right now, you can get it for a little more than $200 off.
