Midsized SUVs combine roomy interiors and plenty of cargo space in a package that’s still relatively easy to drive and park. Some models come equipped with all-wheel drive for improved traction in rough weather, and a few offer a compact third row of seating, adding extra flexibility.

But some of the most popular midsized SUVs are also among the least reliable, according to our exclusive survey data, which includes information on about 330,000 vehicles.
