Features & Specs - Ninja Professional NJ600
Glass jar Heavy and stable, can be put in the dishwasher, and don't get cloudy or stained.
Plastic jar Lighter and easier to handle than glass, but that makes them more likely to wobble or tip over.
Stainless-steel jar Stylish, sturdy, lighter than glass, and often dishwasher-safe, but you can't see the contents.
Removable blade A blade that can be removed makes cleaning easier.
Controls Indicates the type of controls the blender has.
Pulse Identifies that the blender has a pulse feature, which provides the user with greater control during use and prevents overblending.
After much research, I chose the Ninja to replace a newish Breville Hemisphere that died after I dropped on a concrete floor- the Breville was quite heavy and the jar slipped off the base. I am so happy with this new Ninja! I had thought they were gimmicky and cheaply made- not so. It is lighter, the jar locks onto the motor base so maybe I won't kill this one. Love that it runs as long as I want it to instead of having a one-minute timer, love that it came with 2-16 oz. jars for smoothies or small jobs, love the big jar and triple blade that makes short work of any task. The only negative is that it's very noisy. I just hope it has decent longevity.

I got this as a gift for Christmas 2013. I love to work out every morning and I make a shake/smoothie and drink it on my way to the gym. I was (initially) thrilled to have this blender. By March, 2014 it did not work. I sent two messages on the Ninja website, noting the problem/issue. I never heard anything. I am currently shopping for a new blender. I would NOT even consider a Ninja!

Easy To Clean
Cover Takes Some Time
Does Not Completely Blend
My cheap blender was better - the Ninja sounds like a jackhammer and I still have chunks of food floating. The cover is weird, because it locks and it will not turn on if you don't have the lock on properly - it also it hard to get off, so if you want to add something, it gets irritating.
