I just absolutely love this coffee machine. I bought this to replace my DC-1200 which by the way still works after 9 years. I have had this new machine for about a week now. The coffee is hot and tasty. I don't miss my carafe. A little more care to clean. Dishwasher safe except for the water reservoir. All the gages work great. I go a little extra to make sure I have no sediment built up by rinsing the coffee reservoir and lever inside of it well. I finger pinch the spring to make sure the water runs clear and then run it through the dishwasher. So I guess for some of the people that have drip problems maybe they didn't keep it clean often enough? Or maybe they used the cupcake basket and filter paper together and got all that overflow issues( which you are not suppose to do)? Maybe if some owners would read the manual, then turn the coffee reservoir over, press and rinse the spring, they would not have anymore leaks? Right now I think I made a wonderful purchase and we'll see 3 years after the warranty runs out.

Drips Coffee All Over
I have had two of them and after a short period of time, it leaks coffee all over the counter and it's done! I love it but after trying two, I need to switch to something reliable.
