Great Car seat, my 1 year old peanut is still using it. However it is heavy and can't imagine carrying a 30 lbs baby in this seat. It can also get very hot. There were times we didn't bother with blankets because we knew the seat would be warm enough for her.

I would buy it again. And are using it for number 2.

This seat is now being used by my 2nd son because I can't imagine anything better (& it's not expired!). Everything is just so easy, from the audible clicks into the base to the smooth-gliding straps and easy chest clip. I have since tried out other friend's and family member's car seats (since they said theirs were great), and was actually shocked with one (Graco) that required so much effort to tighten the straps I nearly broke a sweat! When she tried mine, she said she just didn't know it could be that easy! *As with all car seats, make sure to pull up on the chest clip to tighten the straps down over your baby's hips before thinking you've got the straps tight enough (a car seat tech told me about that & it makes a big difference)!

Comment:
My daughter is now 19 months and she has just out grown it. She is just tiny. She still only weighs 20 lbs. but she has outgrown the height guideline. :( I work full-time and my mom watches her for me so we each have a base and just share the one seat. That has made it so convenient to use. I am truly going to miss this seat and it's ease of use. With the new recommendation of rear facing until 2, I have wanted to use this as long as she safely fits in it. She doesn't mind still facing backwards because I have a large mirror on her head rest so she can still see me. I just don't see the other convertible seats with near as high collision ratings as this. Wish the height on this seat could accommodate a taller toddler. I am going to have an arm and leg into 2 convertible seats. Chicco....please start making seats like this for toddlers
