Comment:
Comes loaded with many apps that I wouldn't use. The keyboard performs poorly; spacebar frequently fails to insert space even when pressed sharply. Cursor has a mind of its own, jumping around on screen and inserting new text in the middle of the document. Touch pad was initially overly sensitive, after repair, would not click pointer at all.
Service support is terrible. On-line chat could not correct spacebar or touch pad problem; arranged to send computer to service center. Service was prompt, but computer returned working worse than before. I called technical support on phone. Very poor communication; technician did not speak English well. Technician used many scripted statements such as: Yes, I understand the problem is frustrating. , but simply made things more frustrating by not communicating. I had to pay about $65.00 to ship it the first time. When it still didn't work, Acer paid for shipping. 18 days later, the machine has still not been returned.
It may be a fine computer if it works, but a web search shows many other users complaining about the keyboard and bad service.

This is a machine I wanted to like - great look, lightweight, included bluetooth mouse, protective case, micro HDMI adapter, fine wireless strength, SSD, fast bootup, nice speed. I upgraded to Windows 8.1, installed a few things, and all was looking good. Unfortunately the keyboard is all but unusable for typing. Repeated characters, missed keystrokes, needing to press page down 2-3 times before it would catch.

Acer support was quick and after troubleshooting in three fairly short chat sessions concluded that it was a hardware problem, said send it in, and they would repair or replace. Acer's message boards though showed others having the same problem with no one reporting a fix. Not confident that it could be made satisfactory, I returned it to the retailer for a replacement. The replacement had pretty much the same problem with poor key responsiveness, although with fewer cases of repeating keys. I returned it for a refund.

This may have been a problem with a particular production lot, but as it stands I could not recommend this laptop.

Comment:
After checking out Apple Air, Lenovo Yoga, I decided to go with ACER S7 13.3 inch with Intel i7 Core (4th gen - Haswell), 8G memory, and 256G SSD. It is pricey but you get what you pay for.
It has faster performance than apple with touch screen, and battery last much longer than Lenovo. I also had serious concern with Lenovo's ultra books getting very (dangerously)hot. My experience with S7 so far has been positive. I recommend ACER to improve keyboard layout design.
