About - Epson Expression Premium XP-810
The Epson Expression Premium XP-810 is an all-in-one inkjet printer with scan and copy functions, an automatic document feeder, built-in faxing, and both Wi-Fi and Ethernet networking. It works with both Windows and Mac OS. Individual cartridges for each color let you change only the ones that are empty. There's a second tray for full-size paper, allowing you to load letterhead paper, for instance. It also has a separate tray for snapshot-size photo paper. The printer can print directly on inkjet-printable CDs and DVDs. There's an automatic document feeder to let you copy or scan a stack of pages in one operation. The automatic document feeder can even copy or scan both sides of the pages. The printer has a large, 3.4-inch display screen that can preview photos to be printed from a memory card.

Comment:
I wanted to like this printer. On the surface - has some nice features. The set up should have been a warning to me. Worst printer ever purchased! Like other reviewers, purchased it based on CR review. Despite multiple attempts and hours wasted still can't use the printer with household macs wirelessly on a consistent basis. Have finally given up and do all my printing using the USB connector (thank goodness for that otherwise it would just be a black and white copier!). . After a couple of months, the color management (whether printed or copied) degraded and is now just horrible (and using Epson ink). Won't use for photos and would never print or copy color for work. And an ink guzzler -- worse than my previous Canon printer. My first Epson and will never buy an Epson again. Based on other reviews, not sure how CR got this one so WRONG!!!

Comment:
Excellent AIO printer with a very small footprint. We do ordinary household and home office printing (including legal size) and make frequent use of the duplex print and duplex ADF. We print maps, invitations, cards and photos, and even the occasional FAX. We haven't tried the CD/DVD print yet. <br />This printer does come with a learning curve, though. First is to use heavier paper (24#) to avoid jams; second is to follow its on-screen instructions exactly to use the rear feed or to change ink cartridges. No, it's not intuitive, just follow the directions. Exactly.<br />Once we learned these things, it's been easy to use and completely reliable.

Comment:
I would not recommend this printer. It is an ink guzzler. The ink nozzles get clogged up easliy. I spent $100 worth of ink to fix it and now they are clogged again.
