Comment:
This product has changed since CR tested it. It no longer tears cleanly and it falls apart in use. It's still very soft, but..

Comment:
This may be a highly rated toilet paper, but it leaves so much white dust in the bathroom I'm constantly having to clean up after it. My recessed TP holder has piles of lint in it, and when I grabbed a piece to blow my nose it left bits of lint all over my shirt. No more will I purchase this brand.
How long have you owned it:
Three-to-six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Changing brands -- away from Northern

Cons
Not Sewer Line Friendly
Roll Length Decreased

Comment:
I have used Northern TP for many years (decades?). As time goes by, I feel that each improvement is at the cost of another desired quality. Recently I have had issues with a sewer line drain in my basement backing up. Out comes my plunger (ewww)... and each time, the drain and nearby floor are covered in TP. Might be okay if it was shredded, but its not. Since switching to another brand, no more plugged drains.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
