Comment:
Lasted a long time but at the price you could by 2 Calphalons and get even more life of use for the money.
Also I made 4 attempts to use the warranty when the coating started to fail.
I got no response via email or telephone.
So,
since the warranty is useless I decided to buy 2 Calphalon pans for the same money.
I figure that I can get a year out of this pan or 18 months out of the 2 Calphalon pans.
Just looking at dollars per fry and this pan doesn't live up to the promise.

I had a Swiss Diamond pan for 6 months and it developed what looked like pitting, resembling dark pepper sprinkled in the pan.
Swiss diamond instructed me to box it, label it, include claim number on the box and insert a copy of the RA#, pack it properly and pay to UPS it to NC. Missing any step in these instructions would result in the old pan being returned to me.
At any UPS location this process costs at least $30 for the box, packing, shipping etc.
Also they stated they would try to replace my defective pan in 2-4 weeks. Try.
All this, because I was sold what they describe as a defective pan.
$30 MORE for a defective pan? I'll just cut my losses.

Comment:
My wife bought me the small skillet as a Christmas gift in December 2014. After using it for several months, I bought the square griddle. Both have performed perfectly and I use them frequently. I do use butter for taste when frying, but the skillet and griddle have performed the same without oil or butter - food slides right out - in fact, sometimes it's hard to get a spatula underneath because there is so little friction, the food just moves. I typically use plastic or silicone utensils, but have used metal without damage to the surface. They are very easy to clean. I will buy more and recommend.
