This phone can work during household AC power loss, using stored power from the handset's battery to operate. It has excellent voice quality when talking and listening. We found this phone very good to use. It has excellent message quality and very good answerer ease of use. It also has a generous 27-minute message recording time. This phone can pair cell phones and wireless headsets via Bluetooth, and also transfer your address book via Bluetooth. You can receive mobile notifications to your handset and It has Siri and Google now access ( you can activate the voice-controlled application of the cell phone such as Siri, Google Now or S Voice, using your handset or telephone base). It also has a usb charging port and it can conference handset to handset, like an intercom.

Phone features include side volume control, a lighted keypad, which is essential if using the phone in a dark room, talking caller ID, any-key answer and voice-mail indicator. To save energy and extend battery life, the phone automatically reduces radio power when its base is nearby. It also has chain dialing ( helpful if you frequently use calling cards), multilingual menus and is conferencing capable with an outside line. It's Energy Star compliant. Additionally the answerer has an audible new message alert and can record answerer greeting using handset.

On the downside, Bluetooth headset capability is limited because Bluetooth headsets typically have about a 30 foot range from the base. Phone setup is overly complicated. Handset lacks auto talk and a headset jack, which is a useful feature for hands-free operation. Answerer lacks announce-only mode.
