Cooper Lohr is a Senior Policy Analyst, Transportation and Safety, at Consumer Reports. Based out of CR’s Washington, D.C., office, he works to ensure access to advanced vehicle safety technology, strong safety standards, and protection for people inside and outside the vehicle. Cooper previously helped lead coverage of transportation and energy policy issues as a legislative analyst at Bloomberg Government. Before that, he was a policy analyst for the American Road and Transportation Builders Association. He holds a master’s degree in government from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from American University.
