As a Senior Policy Analyst on Consumer Reports’ safety policy team, Gabe Knight focuses on advancing CR’s priorities in consumer product and auto safety. She works with congressional offices to develop and promote consumer-focused safety legislation and submits public comments to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on safety issues and proposed standards and regulations. She also partners with coalitions and consumer and parent advocates to drive progress on critical consumer safety initiatives.
Gabe has a Master of Public Administration from American University’s School of Public Affairs and a bachelor’s degree in political science and religion from Florida State University. During grad school, she worked at Third Way and Oceana, supporting their government relations teams. Prior to that she served in AmeriCorps, then spent two and a half years living abroad in Hong Kong and Chile, where she taught English.
