Paul Ritchey is a Senior Test Project Leader on the Consumer Experience and Usability Research Team at Consumer Reports. He is a human factors expert who specializes in evaluating the ergonomics and usability of a wide range of consumer products, including office chairs, massage guns, insect repellent, and smart bulbs and their apps. Paul applies his background in physical ergonomics and human-computer interaction to design and lead rigorous evaluations that help people make informed choices.
Paul has a Doctor of Public Health degree in epidemiology and environmental health from Texas A&M University, and a master’s degree in applied psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He is also a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE).
