Regina Schwartz is the Director of Campaigns & Community Engagement at Consumer Reports. She leads a team that focuses on building strategic and lasting partnerships with consumers, allies, and business leaders to make our communities and futures safer, fairer, and more sustainable.
Gina has experience in community engagement, movement building, and digital innovation. As the Director of Public Engagement for New York City, she built and led a 200+ person team that leveraged data and analytics to reach the most marginalized community members, enrolling them in city services using custom technology and then engaging them to set the policy agenda. In her role as the Director of Movement and Capacity Building at The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Gina built a department that specialized in training advocates and growing movements that leverage power for impactful policy victories.
As one of the founding staff of the Analyst Institute, Gina expanded its community by working with many organizations running online and offline campaigns and generating best practices for effective messaging and data-informed programs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social studies from Harvard University.
