Robert Gentile is General Manager, Licensing and Advisory Services for Consumer Reports. He has more than 20 years experience, working in a variety of leadership roles focusing on corporate strategy, business innovation and new product development.

Rob has established and led numerous efforts at CR, including creating the organization’s first new business innovation function, bringing to market high-impact, revenue-generating products and services (B2B and B2C) that serve consumers, manufacturers and retailers across a variety of market verticals. In his current role, he oversees licensing businesses, including CR Recommended, data intelligence and advisory services.

Rob holds a BA in Economics from Fordham University, an MBA in Finance from Iona University La Penta School of Business and completed a Disruptive Strategy and Innovation post-graduate program at Harvard Business School. An avid fan of the New York Mets, he lives in Westchester with his wife and daughter.
