William Wallace is Director, Safety Advocacy for Consumer Reports. Based in the Washington, D.C., office, he works on public policy and advocacy concerns related to household products, including product safety, as well as motor vehicle safety and vehicle automation. Prior to joining CR in 2014, he spent five years working for the U.S. House of Representatives, primarily at the Committee on Energy and Commerce as legislative staff for safety, consumer protection, general commerce, and international trade-related matters.
