Outsize is part of the
Vacuum Cleaners test program at
Consumer Reports. In our lab tests, Stick Vacuum (Cordless)
models like the Outsize are rated on multiple criteria, such as those
listed below.
Carpet:
A high score means the vacuum effectively removes dirt from medium-pile carpet. A top-scoring model picks up everything from fine particles such as sand to larger items like Cheerios.
Bare floors:
A high score means the vacuum effectively removes dirt from bare floors such as hardwood. A top-scoring model picks up everything from fine particles like sand to larger items like cereal.
Edges:
A high score means the vacuum effectively reaches and cleans into corners and edges. A top-scoring model has little problem cleaning edges such as the areas where the walls and the floor meet.
