Transmission and drive train are also very good and mated well with the engine for effortless routine performance, with a hint of athleticism. Suspension tuning leans more to a firmer ride vs. smooth/silky, which is fine for me and spouse as we have been driving Hondas. The RDX loses a bit of its secure feel in sharp cornering and quick avoidance moves which can surprise you relative to its seemingly more taunt feel in avg. driving."

"Somewhat athletic feel when accelerating and passing as this six cylinder engine is excellent. Generally comfortable driving, though ambient cabin noise is typical Honda and is more than it should be for an up level brand. Straight line and wide curve driving have a deceptively more firm athletic/sporty feel as apposed to smooth and buttoned down; however, on harder/sharper cornering stability and confidence is not inspiring. Dry traction is very good, wet traction is avg. to good with quality tires that are rated well for we traction. Driver and passenger seats are comfortable for road tripping and have average adjustment capability. Second row seating has good leg room and the seats are comfortable."

"The 2013 RDX was too expensive for the ride, Yesterday the inside rear view fell off and the mount took some of the glass with it. Now I have to replace the windshield. We live in south central texas and the outside temp was near 100 F. Should not do this."
