What Owners Say
"There is a smell that is emitted by the cooling system when the A/C is operated. The dealer has not been able to effectively eliminate it."
Anonymous, CA (2012 Buick Enclave None 3.6-L V6)"It went out at approx 50K miles and less than 5 years old"
Robert J., TX (2012 Buick Enclave None 3.6-L V6)"The unit was blowing cold are when we needed heat"
James B., GA (2012 Buick Enclave None 3.6-L V6)"I had Freon topped off several times in the past three years. This time, mechanic found Freon lubricant and dye on compressor and both hoses. With compressor, hoses, and condenser* replacement total cost was $2000. *Condenser replacement required for compressor warranty coverage."

Anonymous, TN (2012 Buick Enclave None 3.6-L V6)"A/C has required recharge past two years. Recent issue with dual climate control -- driver's side blows hot and passenger side blows cold."
Anonymous, VA (2012 Buick Enclave None 3.6-L V6)"Had to replace acctuator"
Kevin B., VA (2012 Buick Enclave None 3.6-L V6)"The automatic climate fails to maintain a set temperature, often times blowing the fan excessively beyond the time that the vehicle has cooled to the set temperature. Dealer has no remediation for this. Sometimes the automatic climate will cool/heat to the desired temp and then slow the fan as you would expect. Very inconsistent problem."
Anonymous, PA (2012 Buick Enclave None 3.6-L V6)"The passenger side failed to cool."
Loretta T., KS (2012 Buick Enclave None 3.6-L V6)"Air temp sensor was reading incorrectly, therefore system didn't maintain comfortable air temp"
Anonymous, TX (2012 Buick Enclave None 3.6-L V6)"Passenger side & driver side AC not working correctly-one side hot & other side cool! Of course this happened after warranty just expired!"

Anonymous, OH (2012 Buick Enclave None 3.6-L V6)"This vehicle has been the best one we have EVER owned. It's eight years old with nearly 190,000 miles on it and had not let us down. The fan going out isn't a big deal compared to the VALUE we have received."
Anonymous, NE (2012 Buick Enclave None 3.6-L V6)"No matter what temperature the control was set to, the heater turned on and blew hot air"
Anonymous, TX (2012 Buick Enclave None 3.6-L V6)"AC quit on trip. Took it to dealership at home and they could not find anything wrong. A couple days later it went out again. This time they discovered that both the front and the rear condensers had to be replaced"

William M., PA (2012 Buick Enclave None 3.6-L V6)"Vehicle has tri-climate control. The heater when set on combo of defrost/floor would function as set for a short period and then suddenly change to very cold..set at 22 celsius would become about 15 degrees celsius at the windshield and mid area of"

Anonymous, NY (2012 Buick Enclave None 3.6-L V6)"The car does have 72000 miles on it, but this is the first time that a car has run out of coolant. A check of the system does not show any leaks. We are still investigating, by using a dye in the coolant. The system is functioning nicely at this time, but.....we are still looking and I have it checked at regular intervals."

Larry M., IL (2012 Buick Enclave None 3.6-L V6)"HERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH A FUEL LINE MAKING CONTACT WITH THE REFRIGERANT HOSE BEHIND THE DASH. THE CONSTANT RUBBING CAUSED THE REFRIGERANT LINE TO BREAK. REPLACEMENT REQUIRED REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF ENTIRE REFRIGERANT LINE TO INCLUDE THE REAR A/C UNIT. EXPENSIVE TO FIX. I BELIEVE IT WAS A DESIGN FLAW OR SOME MECHANIC SOMEWHERE DOWN THE LINE FAILED TO DO SOMETHING CORRECTLY"
