Acura and Honda issued a recall for nearly 295,000 vehicles, including the 2022-2025 Acura MDX Type-S SUV, 2021-2025 Acura TLX Type-S sedan, and 2023-2025 Honda Pilot SUV.

    MORE ON Car RECALLS

A software error in the fuel injection control unit may cause these vehicles to suddenly stall or lose power while driving, which could cause a crash. Drivers may also notice a check engine light illuminated on the dashboard.

Acura and Honda dealerships will perform a software update, free of charge, to fix the problem. (Acura is Honda’s luxury brand.) According to documents provided to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the automakers are unaware of any crashes or injuries related to the recall.
