More Nissan Rogue SUVs Recalled to Fix Faulty Engines
Certain recalled models are equipped with 3-cylinder engines
Nissan is recalling over 300,000 Rogue SUVs from the 2023 through 2025 model years to fix potentially serious engine problems. As with all recalls, those repairs will be free of charge.
Nissan Rogue Recall Details
Vehicles recalled: Certain 2023-2025 Nissan Rogue SUVs equipped with 3-cylinder, 1.5-liter variable compression turbo engines that Nissan markets as “VC-Turbo.”
The problem: Various problems can lead to engine failure and increase fire risk.
The fix: Depending on the problem, Nissan dealerships will perform engine inspections, replace parts, and/or replace the entire engine, if necessary.

NHTSA campaign numbers: 26V080 for the bearing recall and 26V081 for the throttle body recall. 26V080 is an expansion of 25V437. Nissan’s own numbers for these recalls are R25E2 and R25E3.
