What Owners Say
"Forward collision sensor needed to be replaced. In addition, that sensor also impacted the lane changing warning system. I was unaware that either of these systems had failed until I nearly had an accident when changing lanes as a car was in my blind spot. I've since learned to not trust the system fully even after having it replaced"
Anonymous, PA (2015 Chevrolet Impala LTZ 3.6-L V6)"The blind spot wearing sensor shorted out due to water. The parts were on back order for many weeks. It has now been repaired and working okay."

Anonymous, NE (2015 Chevrolet Impala LT 3.6-L V6)"When sun glare hits 45 degree navigation screen, the picture suddenly becomes invisible. This is especially hazardous when in reverse and you expect and rely on expanded rear visibility as an additional safety feature"
A S., FL (2015 Chevrolet Impala LTZ 3.6-L V6)"It just stoped working while we were driving. When we shut the vehicle off, and then started it, it worked again."

Anonymous, WA (2015 Chevrolet Impala LT 3.6-L V6)"for some unknown reason my Mylink infotainment screen went black not blank black for about 3 days .and I was unable to use my radio or navigation system. Than after getting in my car and closing the door the screen came back to life. It has done this twice so far. I believe I have a loose connection some where in the dashboard."
John R., NJ (2015 Chevrolet Impala LT 3.6-L V6)"It got fixed."
Anonymous, IN (2015 Chevrolet Impala)"When the glare of sun hits the 45 degree navigation screen, the picture suddenly becomes invisible. This is hazardous when in reverse when you expect and rely on expanded rear visibility as an additional safety feature"

John K., IL (2015 Chevrolet Impala LS 2.5-L 4 Cyl)"Phone can't pair and when it is paired it uses phone instead of Bluetooth to play songs from phone"
Anonymous, MI (2015 Chevrolet Impala LTZ 3.6-L V6)"Bose system gets stuck on the last song played when car was shut off last. Car has lots of road noise which you did not offer on your noise choices. CR tests said this car was quiet, it is not! Takes the joy out of ownership. Same thing in another I"
Anonymous, MN (2015 Chevrolet Impala LTZ 3.6-L V6)"sometimes it does not work"
Francis J., NY (2015 Chevrolet Impala LT 3.6-L V6)"The MyLink system is not fully compatible with the SiriusXM traffic notification subscription as the map does not show the type of traffic (light, medium, heavy) for all roads. For example, around Baltimore MD, it will only display the type of traffic for the beltway (695). It ignores all others including 70. I've contacted both GM and SiriusXM and they blame each other. I'm siding with SiriusXM as my previous vehicles (a Ford and Chrysler) worked fine"
Anonymous, PA (2015 Chevrolet Impala LTZ 3.6-L V6)"Nav system locks up after about 1-2 hours on long trips. You have to stop and shut off system for at most 10 minutes to reset nav system. Two attempts to fix failed. Cant tell if fixed until you take another long trip. Therefore it takes months for most average people to determine if fixed. They wont know until it messes up next family vacation."
Anonymous, TX (2015 Chevrolet Impala LTZ 3.6-L V6)"The module that controls onstar and the GPS navigation did not work when we picked up the car"
Michael K., MI (2015 Chevrolet Impala LT 3.6-L V6)"After operating for several hours on a long trip, the system loses it's instructions where it is going. It knows it's present location. Chevrolet was unable to duplicate the problem although they ran some system checks. The service manager told me to stop the vehicle and turn off the ignition. Wait 30 seconds and start the vehicle and the system should function properly. I have not taken a trip since which is over 2 1/2 hours and the system has not malfunctioned since then."
Anonymous, FL (2015 Chevrolet Impala LTZ 3.6-L V6)"System working fine since final repair/replacement around 3 years ago."
