The mechanic originally thought it was the low speed sensor, which is much cheaper to fix. Codes thrown periodically point to the actual controller itself being the problem, which is much more expensive to fix."

"The ABS light comes on intermittently. I have checked with my mechanic and he suspects that it is a wheel speed sensor issue. The sensor is in the front wheel bearing and I plan to have the bearing replaced within the next month"
