"An error code displayed on the DIS. I took the truck to the dealer, they gave me a loaner and it took about 7 days to get the parts and replace the controller. There was never a breakdown, no performance issues, just the error code. The inconvenience was minimal due to the loaner and good service."

Currently sitting at Chevrolet dealer. Has been 10 days so far. Service Advisor stating it could be 2 weeks to 2 months before they can get the part. This truck was purchased to use as an "overlanding" camping vehicle. Essentially we may miss this camping season since the truck is idled at the dealers repair facility. $70,000.00 truck, completely unusable because of the failure of a simple piece of technology that goes back to the dawn of the automotive age. SMDH.""
