This big SUV, which is built on a full-sized pickup chassis, seems like a throwback in a world where nearly every other SUV was based on a carlike unibody structure. For 2015, the Tahoe was redesigned, with chiseled looks, a nicely finished interior, the latest technology of the time and slightly better fuel economy. The first thing you notice when driving any Tahoe is its exceptional quiet, much like a good luxury car.

Overall Owner Satisfaction

Consumer Reports’ Annual Owner Satisfaction Survey can improve the chances of finding a compatible car match. How? Our survey data reveals whether, all things considered, owners would buy the same car again. The answer to that question is what determines our owner-satisfaction rating, which is a powerful piece of intel because it predicts how well a particular model will satisfy other owners.

What Owners Say

"Great ride."

Anonymous, LA (2015 Chevrolet Tahoe)

"Wonderful ride. Quiet too. But the drivers seat - I have to add a thin pillow to the seat to raise my butt to be comfortable. Have tried all ways to adjust to make myself comfortable in the position I desire and the very rear of the seat needs to raise. I was able to in my 2007 Tahoe"

Anonymous, IN (2015 Chevrolet Tahoe)

"handles well. Short turning radius, Easy to park. Good style. Easy entry and exit. Plenty of room for 6 adults."

Doug B., WA (2015 Chevrolet Tahoe)

"Door weather stripping allows wind noise"

Robert W., TX (2015 Chevrolet Tahoe)

"The adjustment capability on long trips. To adjust the lumbar Ann tilt are great. You feel safe and secure when driving this Tahoe."

Anonymous, GA (2015 Chevrolet Tahoe)

"Seat comfort is sorely needed. You are quite uncomfortable after 2-3 hours driving."

Bruce B., MS (2015 Chevrolet Tahoe)

"Bought first one in 1978, Owned 9. Chevy Blazer then. One can tell I like them. I have the LTZ model with the advanced ride system. Chevy can't seem to get the ride street comfortable. Hard and on the teeth jarring side particularly at modest speeds ie 30 to 45 mph. and on 2008, rear two and 2015, front two had the wildly expensive shock/strut fail.. Out of warranty as you might guess. Chevy with some modest pressuring from me paid for 100% on 2008 and 50% on 2015. Pretty fine car for my tastes otherwise. Had to buy a condenser on my dime also. Rock damage, out of warranty"

James H., AZ (2015 Chevrolet Tahoe)

"Great- Noise in cab at over 70k is still low. Good. Seats, but getting noticeably worse Great- Ride, still rides like a new car at 3.5 years old and 72,000 miles."

John A., MA (2015 Chevrolet Tahoe)

"the seating is very comfortable and there is little exterior noise"

Anonymous, NY (2015 Chevrolet Tahoe)
