Finally it FAILED and we were able to drive it to the dealer in that failed condition. The onboard computer DID NOT present any useful information. Along with this the springs were not longer providing the support need for the ride. Rough ride, bottoming out with 4 passengers. Again original parts - low KMs -- not quality parts. Car comes with trailer pckg so does have (supposedly) heavier suspension parts."

"Ford issued a recall on the passenger side airbags well over a year ago. In late 2017 I received a correspondence from Ford telling me not to allow anyone to ride in the front passenger seat. I've checked with several dealers and Ford's trouble line and they have no idea when the problem will be fixed. "Edge was driven in city 100% by previous owner. Fuel economy was up around 17L/100km, Previous 2007 was 12L. Had to use fuel injector cleaner and fuel system cleaner in every tank of fuel. to get it down to about 13-14L/100. Had spark plugs replaced with iridium plugs; tech told me it took 2 cans of varnish remover to clean air intake plenum. Now get 12l/100km average, but city driving is still more than expected on consumption. Use fuel system clean on every other fill up. Engine is not a problem at all - runs great."
