    In-car Electronics

Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.

    What Owners Say

    Android Auto

"Doesnt always function. Have to pull over to stop and start car again"

Anonymous A., OH (2022 Ford Edge Titanium 2.7-L V6 turbo)
    Backup or other camera/sensors

"Sometimes the backup camera doesnt alert you. It did that one day and I had an accident. My display screen always goes out"

Anonymous A., MI (2022 Ford Edge SE Unsure)
    Display screen freezes up

"It is difficult to change functions on the screen- very distracting. Best case is when a button goes away rather than changing function - e.g. switching from phone to navigation."

Anonymous, OR (2022 Ford Edge SEL 2.7-L V6 turbo)

"There is a recall for this. Ford will notify me when fix is available"

Anonymous, OH (2022 Ford Edge Unsure Unsure)
    Display screen goes blank

    "Screen goes blank every month."

Anonymous, NL (2022 Ford Edge SEL 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"It was a problem with both Ford Edges owned. You have to stop the car open the door to return the screen to functioning."

Anonymous, OH (2022 Ford Edge ST 2.7-L V6 turbo)

""While driving down the road in Atlanta, I am using my hands free interface with my Iphone and the screen randomly drops the call, goes blank and completely goes dead prior to re-starting itself. Many times I get into the car and the phone does not or will not pair with the screen. The SYNC system is not a good system in my opinion. I sometimes can turn the car off, open hte driver door so the thing re-sets and it will then allow phone and wayze system to sync iwth the screen. But the reliablity is really bad and disapointing.""

Anonymous A., GA (2022 Ford Edge SEL 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)
    Heads-up display

"Too much time to use the touch screen to make adjustments Sorting through screens to find solutions."

Anonymous, HI (2022 Ford Edge Titanium Unsure)

Anonymous, HI (2022 Ford Edge Titanium Unsure)

"Now getting a code that parking assist is disabled. I don't even think I have such an option in this vehicle. I am going to have to take to a mechanic to find out what is going on."

Anonymous, FL (2022 Ford Edge SEL 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)
    Phone pairing (e.g., Bluetooth)

"The internal syncing of the Iphone to the SYNC system is poor. Sometimes is works sometimes it does not work. When it works it is great but when it doesn't it is REALLY frustrating. I rented a GM product recently and the phone and car worked together seemlessly - why can't Ford do this?"

Anonymous A., GA (2022 Ford Edge SEL 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"From start. Paring with Bluetooth is quite random sometimes works and sometimes doesnt"

Anonymous, OR (2022 Ford Edge Titanium 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)
