Includes acceleration and handling
What Owners Say
"Between the continuously variable transmission and the turbo-charged engine, the CR-V always seems to have enough power, even with the AC blasting and with 4 adults on board. Handling is much better than expected and even though it is not a manual transmission, it is very engaging to drive."
L E., SD (2018 Honda CR-V)"Over all feel and handling is excellent. Acceleration is very good when you need it and it isn't to sensitive compared to the KIA which was very touchy. When testing cars for a new purchase the CR-V outperformed the Toyota, and the KIA for ride, comfort, appearance, and handling."
Anonymous, ID (2018 Honda CR-V)"drives solidly for this body type. handles similarly to a sedan."
Stanley S., MA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Beautiful handling, limited road noise, powerful for a 4 cylinder"
Ken L., CA (2018 Honda CR-V)"I faulted our previous 2010 CR-V for its insufficient power. The 2018 has plenty of power. It only specs at 10 more HP but that and the continuously variable transmission make it quite satisfactory."
Anonymous, CO (2018 Honda CR-V)"Constant velocity transmission better than expected."
Anonymous, FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"My CRV is the Touring model which has the turbocharged motor. I was pleasantly shocked at the increased pickup. Entering the freeway and getting up to speed is no longer a challenge."
Charlotte M., CA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Responsive and enough power for the highway. lots of low end torque"
Lilian T., ON (2018 Honda CR-V)"Drives and handles wonderfully. Only complaints are brakes are overly sensitive and gas mileage no where near claims on sticker."
Gerald W., FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"I am somewhat leery of the transmission CVT as I understand it is comparable to a snowmobile transmission"
Anonymous, NV (2018 Honda CR-V)"Very good and smooth acceleration for such a small engine"
Anonymous, WA (2018 Honda CR-V)"style dependability,handling"
Anonymous, OH (2018 Honda CR-V)"The CR-V is very comfortable to drive and gives a feeling of sturdiness. The 1.5 liter turbo has decent power as long as you leave it out of the Economy mode."
James S., NJ (2018 Honda CR-V)"CRV handles very good and acceleration is much more than I anticipated and very good."
Anonymous, MD (2018 Honda CR-V)"Very good handling. Acceleration anemic from standstill until tubocharger kicks in."
Don R., CO (2018 Honda CR-V)"Great turbo acceleration. Handles well. I bit noisy with road noise but not a major problem"
Mark W., ID (2018 Honda CR-V)"A bit sluggish off the line, but once the transmission locks up and the turbo spools up, it is surprisingly quick especially considering the engine displacement. Handling is very good, with minimal body roll for an SUV. Makes the trade off between a sedan and an SUV far less noticeable."
Shane L., UT (2018 Honda CR-V)"much better acceleration and handling than the 2014 crv"
Scott T., TX (2018 Honda CR-V)"The transmission in the CRV needs to be replaced with a transmission like the ones in the Acura RDX or BMW X3 or Audi A5. The best thing about the Honda's transmission is the gas mileage you get which is excellent. In addition it would be nice to have Honda's 2.0 liter turbo in this car."
Frederick W., NY (2018 Honda CR-V)"I'm not sure it belongs in this section, but I really want to express our enjoyment and appreciation of the active safety features plus blind-spot monitoring. Together, those have make our long highway trips much less tiring and protected us well. The adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assistance are terrific features. They don't make for autonomous driving --- your head still needs to be in the game. However, acc means that we don't have to be constantly gauging the distance between our car and the one ahead of us while using cruise control, and the haptic feedback from the lkas seems an even more intuitive way of staying centered in the lane than solely using one's eyes. The low-speed follow function is really handy in stop and go highway congestion. And the blind spot monitoring is very helpful as well. I wish all of these features were standard on all cars. They are a huge plus."
Anonymous, WA (2018 Honda CR-V)"In sports mode, you have a lot of power, really handy on hills or to pass in a tighter spot"
Yvan T., WA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Handles extremely well, good acceleration when needed."
Richard B., NC (2018 Honda CR-V)"Adaptive cruise control"
Gary P., TX (2018 Honda CR-V)"Drives like a car with plenty of power when needed and handles the road like a car."
Anonymous, MA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Ease of use and economy"
Jay T., MO (2018 Honda CR-V)"Very good"
Anonymous, MA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Surprisingly fun to drive with the small displacement 1.5 liter turbo/CVT combination."
Anonymous, FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"Noticeable turbo lag from a standstill, difficult to apply engine power smoothly since turbo always seems to be spinning up."
Peter E., CT (2018 Honda CR-V)"Handles like a full size car rather tha SUV."
J W., ON (2018 Honda CR-V)"The turbo engine makes for great acceleration (for a SUV) and ensures you have no issues entering at highway speeds. I have noticed the braking is also very good, even when the safety systems force you to break when the car in front suddenly stops."
Charles M., TN (2018 Honda CR-V)"seems to accelerate a bit slowly as when I punch it to enter traffic."
Claire D., MA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration while in eco mode is at best anemic and at worst dangerous with excessive turbo lag. Shutting off eco mode while in town resolves most of that issue. Be wary of the auto break feature (aka collision avoidance system). I've had it have false alarm rapid deceleration twice. Honda knows but can't fix. This is my last Honda."
Raymond W., MO (2018 Honda CR-V)"super charger works really well."
J B., OH (2018 Honda CR-V)"Getting 37mpg on highway and 31 in city while not even trying ie robust driving"
Ron L., OH (2018 Honda CR-V)"Would like better acceleration, but handling is excellent."
Anonymous, NC (2018 Honda CR-V)"The beeping systems -- I HATE THE VEHICLE"
Anonymous, FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"comfort, great ride, acceleration, smoother than a lot of big suv's"
Anonymous, GA (2018 Honda CR-V)"It handles well and accelerates good for such a small engine"
Paul C., NY (2018 Honda CR-V)"I am very satisfied with the acceleration; there is no hesitation. Pickup is excellent."
Marilyn K., FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"The test drive was not using economy but when we bought the car, the dealer immediately told us to use the economy setting. If we don't, gas mileage is terrible. In economy, the car has no acceleration or pickup. It's not fun at all to drive. It's noisy at any speed & affected by wind or passing cars."
Anonymous, FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"Mileage is great, size compared to Odyssey obviously smaller, rear compartment design a little odd"
Anonymous, WI (2018 Honda CR-V)"Engine is very responsive, excellent handling and brakes!"
William T., OH (2018 Honda CR-V)"It has amazing power and handles beautifully."
Anonymous, FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"It is close to handling like my Honda 2008 XL. I love The way the car and the CRV handle curves which are plentiful in my area. I feel in control, safe. Also The lane departure, speed control are handled well. The CRV feels very safe to me"
Sharon S., AR (2018 Honda CR-V)"Great handling and acceleration, despite small engine and excellent mileage per gallon"
Anonymous, AK (2018 Honda CR-V)"Ride is rougher than expected."
Dann M., AZ (2018 Honda CR-V)"CVT transmission not as responsive as a standard transmission lags on acceleration Cabin could be quieter"
Anonymous, FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"good acceleration while maintaining good fuel economy. Fun to drive."
Anonymous, NY (2018 Honda CR-V)"All good in the first 2 months."
Tom S., VA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration is adequate the car handles very well. Leaving the lane warnings are very helpful."
Anonymous, NY (2018 Honda CR-V)"The acceleration is adequate but not as peppy as my last (2015) Touring CR-V. 4 cylinder."
Anonymous, FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"We live in a mountainous state and the turbo is fantastic. I don't have any problems accelerating up anything."
Anonymous, CO (2018 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration and handling is not the best among the competitors with the same segments. I am satisfied with the acceleration and handling."
Anonymous, UT (2018 Honda CR-V)"Very peppy for a 1.5 liter turbo"
Anonymous, FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"Love the turbo"
Anonymous, OH (2018 Honda CR-V)"Surprisingly small turning radius for U-turns and left/right turns. Handles very well and has good acceleration for a 1.9 L Turbo."
Anonymous, CA (2018 Honda CR-V)"It leans a bit excessively in hard cornering, but retains good traction at all times. I think upgraded tires, like Michelin, would have been more appropriate as well. Acceleration is deceptively good. It does not feel that powerful off the line but merging or passing is never an issue."
Dale B., CA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Above average"
Anonymous, TX (2018 Honda CR-V)"Lane assist and speed control are great safety features."
Anonymous, OK (2018 Honda CR-V)"The CRV has very good acceleration and a quiet comfortable ride"
Anonymous, SC (2018 Honda CR-V)"Handling is excellent; acceleration lags unless you punch the accelerator."
Anonymous, CO (2018 Honda CR-V)"Electronic safety features make driving easier and safer. Bigger tires make ride more comfortable. Better sound insulation makes ride quieter. Bigger size makes interior more roomy and comfortable."
Anonymous, SC (2018 Honda CR-V)"It maneuvers wonderfully. I always feel like I'm in complete control of the vehicle and that it has the power to meet any traffic situation."
William P., MA (2018 Honda CR-V)"This is not a big problem, but I am a little disappointed with the turbo lag. Once it kicks in it goes pretty good. I guess that is what you give up for a small engine with great gas mileage. Great SUV though."
Anonymous, UT (2018 Honda CR-V)"I was skeptical of a small 1.5L Turbo providing all the power we are accustomed to, but we are pleasantly surprized in a good way. Gas mileage is great also."
Charles C., IA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Though we bought the Turbo model, the car is surprisingly sluggish when accelerating. We expected more pickup."
Richard O., NY (2018 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration is on the slower side. The turning radius is large. When making a U turn on a residential street I often have to do a 3 point turn. On the same residential street my Ford Explorer can make the U turn without problem. I was surprised by that as the Honda is so much smaller."
Anonymous, UT (2018 Honda CR-V)"All around great auto like everything"
John V., FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"Great acceleration and the CVT transmission is great!"
Fred S., NY (2018 Honda CR-V)"Car can be somewhat sluggish to accelerate"
Anonymous, FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"We love the cruise control. When the control is set, it automatically adjusts your speed with the car in front of you. It alerts the driver when getting too close to another lane."
Anonymous, KY (2018 Honda CR-V)"It drives smoothly, and accelerates up to freeway speed with no problems. The variable speed transmission is smooth and quiet."
Anonymous, WA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Handling is great but I wish the acceleration was faster and peppier. Even with the turbo engine, sometimes it feels hard to merge."
Angela K., WV (2018 Honda CR-V)"Very pleasant ride, quiet and loaded with electronic bells and whistles."
Paul R., AZ (2018 Honda CR-V)"We previously owned a 2008 CR-V. It is not a sports car, obviously, but it was nimble and reasonably engaging to drive. Our new 2018 CRV is a better car in many ways--better equipped, more luxurious, better gas mileage--but despite the increased power, it is a larger and heavier vehicle and somewhat leaden to drive."
Anonymous, MD (2018 Honda CR-V)"The car rides smoothly and handling is responsive"
Journet C., NY (2018 Honda CR-V)"Poor acceleration. Noisy. Handling is great."
John P., FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"the cruise control system makes it easier to drive on the parkway as the system slows the car to keep a safe distance from vehicles ahead."
Anonymous, NJ (2018 Honda CR-V)"This is my first experience with the 1.5 L Turbo and I'm impressed with the acceleration when needed however I find that driving with ECO mode turned on it's not as responsive when you need the sudden burst of speed. So far it seems to have responsive handling. With the ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) set, it takes a little getting accustom to but I've found it to be a very nice feature. I'm still trying to get use to some of the other driver aides that are standard with this model."
Carl S., OH (2018 Honda CR-V)"great acceleration and handling compared to 2015 crv."
Anonymous, FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"Thus CRV has strong acceleration when you step on it. Considering it’s getting 32 miles per gallon real world I am very impressed that the acceleration has been improved so much. This CRV also handles amazingly well very nimble and soaks up bumps extremely well. There is a bit of engine growl when you push the CRV hard, but very minor issue compared to how great this car really is"
Anonymous, VT (2018 Honda CR-V)"Fast smooth acceleration and still gets awesome mpg!"
Carson W., TN (2018 Honda CR-V)"The acceleration to my surprise is fast to respond . I find parking it a challenge and I still trying to find out how to parellei park it efficiently. Had no problem parking my former Honda Accord."
Anonymous, NJ (2018 Honda CR-V)"The handling is very responsive. Acceleration is excellent for passing cars."
Anonymous, AZ (2018 Honda CR-V)"CVT is very smooth Power steering is easier"
Joe B., MD (2018 Honda CR-V)"I was nervous about the car with only a 1500cc engine and CVT. However, I'm pleased with the way it drives. Seems to have enough power and only occasionally get the whirling noise of the CVT."
Anonymous, MA (2018 Honda CR-V)"it is new"
Arthur B., OK (2018 Honda CR-V)"When in Drive acceleration lags until about 20 mph and then it leaps up to what is expected. This does not happen in Sport mode. However, Sport mode boosts the rpm's higher and tightens the shift points. Needless to say mpg's drop off. Handling is good. Still adjusting to the safety systems. Sometimes they seem to be too sensitive and other times not enough."
Randy A., NM (2018 Honda CR-V)"New safety features like lane control, blind spot warning, automatic stopping at slow speeds, rear cross traffic warning and general handling"
Anonymous, AZ (2018 Honda CR-V)"The acceleration is smooth and powerful, handling is great."
Anonymous, CA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Comfortable and peppy!"
Danny H., NC (2018 Honda CR-V)"acceleration is smooth and quiet with plenty of power. Driving and handing with cruise control, distance setting, and lane sensing make a long trip easy."
Anonymous, MD (2018 Honda CR-V)"Smooth handling and good acceleration"
Anonymous, FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"Higher seat position helps visibility"
Anonymous, TN (2018 Honda CR-V)"The turbo provides excellent acceleration while the 1.5L engine is fine for regular driving and gets good gas mileage for an SUV."
Anonymous, TX (2018 Honda CR-V)"Really like the turbo feature for acceleration and general ease of handling"
Anonymous, OR (2018 Honda CR-V)"the ACC, lane keeper and stay on the road features are nice. I would have liked them to put in a full stop as opposed to slow down crash preventer"
Michael B., PA (2018 Honda CR-V)"The Adjustable Cruise Control is awesome and the Lane Keeping Assist works well."
Anonymous, NY (2018 Honda CR-V)"I am extremely impressed by the torque and acceleration of the turbocharged 1.5 liter engine. This is my first CVT transmission and I"m still getting used to it, but coupled with this engine, the package works extremely well. The ride is just a bit stiff, but it's a reasonable trade-off with solid handling. The all wheel drive (AWD) makes the car more sure-footed in dirt and gravel, too."
Anonymous, TX (2018 Honda CR-V)"I feel like this CRV is very responsive. It accelerates quickly and brakes quickly when I need it to."
Anonymous, NY (2018 Honda CR-V)"Easy to handle, park and drive. Acceleration is adequate but not superior."
R P., CA (2018 Honda CR-V)"I love the amount of acceleration for this 4 cylinder even in Economy Mode. Handling is very good and easy to make u-turns."
Anonymous, TX (2018 Honda CR-V)"This is my fourth CR-V (three LE's and this recent one is an EX). The EX has far better acceleration (Turbocharged explains that), is far, far, far quieter and it has a much better "steering feel" than the 2015 CR-V. I was unhappy with the 2015 LE so I upgraded to an EX in the 2018 I leased in February to see if a more expensive version of the CR-V makes a difference. It did! . The 2018's have a better look than the 2015 model. All around the 2018 EX is a better ride (quieter, quicker, better looking inside and out) than any of my previous CR-V's. And yes, I am a loyal Honda CR-V customer. I've never had a breakdown and the recalls have been few. (I owned the first CR-V and have leased the last three)."
Anonymous, NY (2018 Honda CR-V)"Very good acceleration and handling, especially in L and great gas mileage."
Anonymous, OH (2018 Honda CR-V)"Car is underpowered. Good ride but lacks get up and go."
Michael H., VA (2018 Honda CR-V)"The reason we like the CRV is that it handles exceptionally well in snowy weather. Feels real sure footed."
Marshall H., IL (2018 Honda CR-V)"ALL THE AUTOPP SAFETY SYSTEM CRUISE ADJUST, LANE KEEP, WARNING ALERTS"
Anonymous, MT (2018 Honda CR-V)"Excellent pickup. Quiet. Smooth ride."
Anonymous, OH (2018 Honda CR-V)"Honda Sensing Suite is excellent!"
Anonymous, NE (2018 Honda CR-V)"able to handle curves and feels more stable than previous models"
Anonymous, WI (2018 Honda CR-V)"It is very responsive. I love the turbo engine. And the turning radius is very good."
Anonymous, TN (2018 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration is AMAZING, I never worry that I wont have enough speed to enter a highway. The sound system is the weak point on the car. I've had the radio stop working and I had to turn off the car to get it to work again."
Anonymous, CO (2018 Honda CR-V)"At first I was skeptical that a 1.5 turbo would be sufficient, however I was wrong. Aside from a bit of turbo lag when starting from a stop, I find the acceleration to be more than acceptable. It is much more nimble than my previous car, a 2017 Murano."
Anonymous, SK (2018 Honda CR-V)"Very comfortable/compliant ride. Seamless acceleration/deceleration."
Anonymous, NY (2018 Honda CR-V)"Good for a 4 cylinder"

Anonymous, WI (2018 Honda CR-V)"Excellent acceleration. Best of the previous 3 CRVs I’ve owned"
Anonymous, TX (2018 Honda CR-V)"Everything, acceleration, quiet. I have put around 7000 miles on this car and have NO complaints at all."
Thomas C., PA (2018 Honda CR-V)"I traded in my 2016 Fit and really really pleased with the better acceleration & handing. The reason for the move was I moved from Calgary to smaller community Cochrane. I am still going to Calgary 2-3 times a week and although it is only 30 kms it is still Hwy # 1 driving"
Anonymous, AB (2018 Honda CR-V)"Car runs great. Good acceleration and handling."
Anonymous, MI (2018 Honda CR-V)"Recently drove cross-country. Easiest driving car ever. Safety features made things comfortable. ACC a great feature."

Anonymous, CA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Excellent acceleration, low road noise, smooth ride"
Anonymous, VA (2018 Honda CR-V)"needs a bit more acceleration (i.e. bigger engine)."
Anonymous, WA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Very agile and sure-footed vehicle. Stops easily, corners tight and handles bumps easily"
Anonymous, AZ (2018 Honda CR-V)"Even in Econo mode, there is still enough zip to merge onto highways, Take that steep mountain incline as well as driving around residential and city areas."
Daniel R., CO (2018 Honda CR-V)"Best handling small suv. Good acceleration for smaller suv."
Stephen F., AB (2018 Honda CR-V)"Good ride, decent handling, and free from squeaks & rattles. Could use just a bit more power. The CVT transmission is very smooth - but doesn't give you a lot of flexibility to select the "right" amount of engine brake assist when going down hills."
Anonymous, CA (2018 Honda CR-V)"turbo response & power exceeds expectations"
D B., MA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Although I have this vehicle set on econ, it has excellent acceleration when I have needed it. I handles well on the highway and the side mirrors let me know if there is someone in my blind spot. It turns well and I am comfortable with how it handles, overall."

Naveen K., TX (2018 Honda CR-V)"The CRV accelerates well and is very good in traffic."
Anonymous, FL (2018 Honda CR-V)"With all the latest driver- assist electronics, it makes long trips in the car less tiring for the driver. Cruise control with lane assist, excellent back up camera, along with mobile eye technology should be standard in all automobiles."
Anonymous, NY (2018 Honda CR-V)"I like the cruise control that maintains a safe distance without disengaging."
Stephen V., NC (2018 Honda CR-V)"Honda touch screen system is poorly designed, confusing and frustrating."
Roger S., WY (2018 Honda CR-V)"Was worried it was too big of a car for me but just find it’s perfect for me and drives really easy"
Barbara S., CT (2018 Honda CR-V)"ACC - Adaptive Cruise Control helps you maintain a set following interval behind detected vehicles for highway driving."
Anonymous, UT (2018 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration is excellent when considering the very impressive gas mileage. 1500CC turbo."
Anonymous, AZ (2018 Honda CR-V)"We usually use the Econ switch to obtain our 29 mpg average, but uphill and in freeway merging the 1.5 turbo does best when out of Econ. We have noticed exhaust soot on the rear bumper ( vehicle is white). Handling is surprisingly good!"
Anonymous, CA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration is excellent and once out on the highway, the adaptive cruise control works great. Handling is agile and responsive. The lane keep assist and crash avoidance systems are also surprisingly easy to use, effective and helpful. Every time I get out of this vehicle I say to myself, I really like this CR-V. Honda really has found the right power to weight ratio for this vehicle and when combined with a smooth transmission, excellent mileage and a nice looking interior, it can't be beat!"
Randy W., TX (2018 Honda CR-V)"Drives easy and gets the job done with acceleration."

James W., VA (2018 Honda CR-V)"The vehicle handles very well, much better than my 2013 Murano. Acceleration is more than adequate, especially when you consider the mileage of about 31 in the city and 36 on the highway."
A M., NY (2018 Honda CR-V)"Steering, handling are very good at any speed. Tire noise is intrusive at highway speeds. Maintaining any given speed is very good, especially at highway speeds. Acceleration is adequate. Breaks: Effort is very good. Control is very good."
David M., MB (2018 Honda CR-V)"Our CRV handles very securely and inspires confidence. It accelerates well in most traffic conditions, but I do occasionally notice some turbo lag from standing starts with several passengers. It does amazingly well given the size and amount of cabin and cargo room."
Anonymous, PA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Smooth drive, accelerates well but with turbo lag. Power when needed, but well refined at all times."

Anonymous, VA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Handling and suspension are excellent. Acceleration is lacking when merging into expressways, even with the transmission in sport mode"
Anonymous, PA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration is nice and what I expected. The handling is a little shaky and noticeable due to road feel. It feels like the truck is swaying back and forth as I move down the road."
Dale D., CA (2018 Honda CR-V)"I live in the pacific northwest - snow and ice are common. The car does well in the summer as well as in the winter"
Kozen S., WA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Lane assist and cruise control that maintains set distance behind other vehicles"

Anonymous, MO (2018 Honda CR-V)"It’s easy to drive and there are not really any blindspots."
Rick H., IA (2018 Honda CR-V)"drives great /good excceleration"
Thomas K., WI (2018 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration is very good considering the excellent mpg for an awd vehicle."
Anonymous, OH (2018 Honda CR-V)"Very good mileage - best in class I think. Has a little turbo lag but once it gets going its great. Handles very nicely"
James R., TX (2018 Honda CR-V)"My CRV all but drives itself. Safety is my number 1 concern. There are no blind spots. It is so comforting when you change lanes or if you beer out of your lane. The backup fuction is great."
Vicki B., TX (2018 Honda CR-V)"It's smoother and quieter than the three prev CR-V s l had. The engine could be more powerful when starting out ,but is fine when it gets going ,or in highway driving."
James E., DE (2018 Honda CR-V)"Somewhat underpowered"
M L., AZ (2018 Honda CR-V)"It surprises how quickly it will move, and I love the turning radius of this little ride."
Anonymous, TX (2018 Honda CR-V)"I don't drive it, because it's my wife's car."
Anonymous, NV (2018 Honda CR-V)"Although there is a bit of Turbo lag, it really accelerates quickly and the controls are convenient and easy to use. Would like to see more power at all times seems to lug at 35-45 mph."
Anonymous, NC (2018 Honda CR-V)"It accelerates very well, when I step on the gas, it goes. Also, it handles well going around highway curves at a higher speed. I had a 2006 Ford Escape and I had to slow down for highway curves, but not with the Honda CR-V, it takes the curves very well. And it can climb the mountains in western NC even on the energy save function."
Ellyn W., NC (2018 Honda CR-V)"In economy mode, the car still has a peppy feel and handles quick stops , turns and adjustments easily without the jerking feel of some vehicles."
Anonymous, VA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Peppy, safe-driving feeling, even in heavy rain."
Anonymous, VA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Love, love, love the adaptive cruise control. So far I have nothing bad to say about how it drives. The CVT transmission work very smoothly ( no complaints) just different from what I’m use to. The average fuel economy so far is reading 29.7. That is a mix of highway and in town. One of the reasons I bought the CRV was because of the ease of entry and exit. I 66 years old and I found I find I’m falling into, and climbing out of my accord. My daughter bought a 2017 CRV and I liked how easy it is to get in and out of. My 2018 CRV is my Magic Bus."
Peter W., NJ (2018 Honda CR-V)"Its accelerator paddle and beak are a little hard to push. I don't have any problem when driving a short distance. However, when it comes to Los Angeles' stop-and-go traffic, a lighter panels would be really helpful."
Anonymous, CA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Love how it handles and the ease of driving in the city and also highway. ACC and lane assist features are awesome. Acceleration is good but only if you stab the gas otherwise I do not like its sluggish response from a stop under normal gas pedal pressure. The CVT xxxxxx is responsible but accept it."
Richard H., ON (2018 Honda CR-V)"After a couple of lengthy (all day) trips and using the cruise control, we noticed a couple of things. (1) the adaptive speed control kept us at a safe distance from the vehicle directly in front (that distance varies and can be set by the driver) and (2). Arriving at our destination, we were not as worn out...the ride was smooth."
Charles L., IL (2018 Honda CR-V)"Hate the rubber band transmission. Love the adaptive cruise control."
Anonymous, TX (2018 Honda CR-V)"Great acceleration available when needed. Handling is a good balance of smooth & tight."
David H., KS (2018 Honda CR-V)"The 4 cylinder turbo is surprisingly fast."
Jacques G., NC (2018 Honda CR-V)"It continues to surprise me on the power, subtle as it is, comes up so quickly in response to stepping on the gas. I have come to appreciate the lane assist feature and even the part where it slows vehicle down with Cruise Control on if front vehicle slows down.."
Anonymous, SK (2018 Honda CR-V)"Quick acceleration and good steering response"
Anonymous, IL (2018 Honda CR-V)"Cruise control will not hold set speed when going down hills."
Anonymous, UT (2018 Honda CR-V)"This vehicle handles very well, it has plenty of power and corners much better than previous vehicles. It is very comfortable to drive and new safety features add confidence to the experience."
Charles W., ME (2018 Honda CR-V)"Good acceleration when needed and handles well in corners"
Anonymous, MN (2018 Honda CR-V)"Runs strong, starts immediately, drives like it's on rails and get's amazing gas milage"
Mark C., PA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Small turning radius Responsive steering Great acceleration & power Great and responsive cruise control"
Anonymous, CA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Acceleration is pretty good, handles very well."
Curtis J., MS (2018 Honda CR-V)"Handles well and smart cruise and lane assist make for better long drives."
Anonymous, OR (2018 Honda CR-V)"it has great acceleration"
Sue S., TX (2018 Honda CR-V)"turbo-charged engine kicks in quickly and effectively."
David K., TN (2018 Honda CR-V)"Drive well and runs like hell"
Harry S., NC (2018 Honda CR-V)"The acceleration is very sluggish. In traffic I think this is dangerous to have that slow/hesitation before kicking in fully, then such a jerky take off. I will have this checked. Seems like a clutch issue??? If it's operating normally then it is a definate drawback to thisfine vehicle."
Anonymous, AZ (2018 Honda CR-V)"It drives like a dream."
Timothy R., OH (2018 Honda CR-V)"Surprisingly powerful when eco not in use- I got a speeding ticket as a result!"
Anonymous, CA (2018 Honda CR-V)"Love everything about the car but it will not hold it’s speed when in cruise going down hill. It always gains 4 to 6 miles or more"
Anonymous, WA (2018 Honda CR-V)"The fuel economy around town is outstanding at 30 plus mpg. Acceleration is more than adequate and for a relatively small vehicle was surprisingly comfortable on the 1800 mile trip. My wife fared better with her arthritis in the CRV than she does in the Odyssey."
Tom E., MS (2018 Honda CR-V)
"This CRV has pick up missing in my previous 2001 Honda CRV. I love the tighter turn radius, the back up camera, and the ability to answer incoming calls from the screen by voice command. Also love the adjustable seat positions which respond to the keyholder."
