Owner Reported Trouble Spots

The Reliability score is based on our latest subscriber survey of 2023 Honda Odyssey owners. The owner comments describe problems respondents experienced with this vehicle.

Suspension/Steering

Shocks or struts, ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings, alignment, steering linkage (includes rack and pinion), power steering (pumps and hoses, leaks), wheel balance, springs or torsion bars, bushings, electronic or air suspension.

What Owners Say

Alignment

""The car came new with terrible alignment. The selling dealer said it was fine. I took it to a second dealer who corrected alignment somewhat. Then i took it to a third dealer who made more improvement. While helpful, the alignment was only part of the steering problems. See my steering problem comments for additional details. Terrible steering and no feel of the road.""

Anonymous A., CA (2023 Honda Odyssey Elite 3.5-L V6)
Other steering/suspension problem

"Odyssey wanders back and forth endlessly. Poor feeling of the road. My 2000 Windstar was a joy to drive. I've taken it to four dealers to find a solution. They did 3 alignments. Alignment was way off when delivered. The Honda Odyssey steering is terrible! It has no feel of the road and does not track well. It requires constant steering adjustments. The lane keeping assist is worthless - it over corrects and wanders right to left then drives off the road. The dealers all tell me nothing is wrong. I'm 75 and never had a car so hard to drive. I'm disappointed in CR that nothing was ever reported on this issue. Or do I have a lemmon?"

Anonymous A., CA (2023 Honda Odyssey Elite 3.5-L V6)
