Anonymous, WI (2004 Honda Pilot EX 3.5-L V6)"A/c "fades", i.e. continues working but must continuously drop the selected temperature to keep working. I have not yet taken it to be serviced"
Anonymous, FL (2004 Honda Pilot EX 3.5-L V6)"The A/C compressor went out completely resulting in only hot/warm air blowing out of the system. Once it was replaced, we got cool air once more"
Anonymous, OH (2004 Honda Pilot LX 3.5-L V6)"In 2016, the rear A/C compressor failed such that the rear seats did not get cold air when the A/C was turned on (the rear has it's own A/C compressor)"

Anonymous, AZ (2004 Honda Pilot EX 3.5-L V6)"For years, at times the car would select its own temp settings, but it would frequently require you to turn the temp down to 63 degrees on a hot day to get cool air. Anything above that would turn on the heat. The dealer and a local mechanic were never able to repair it until a local shop finally repaired recently by replacing a $250 plus labor valve to regulate the heat and air. We were not pleased with Honda on this one"

Anonymous, NC (2004 Honda Pilot LX 3.5-L V6)"Thermostat for regulating heat and air is no working properly. It ether blasts high heat or very cold air. There seems to be no regulation"

Anonymous, CA (2004 Honda Pilot EX 3.5-L V6)"Completely lost heat in the cabin area in the middle of winter. Turned out tonbe the "Water Valve" that controls the flow of engine coolant to the heater core as well as coolant from the ACcompressor. Problem was quickly repaired at the dealership."
