What Owners Say

"It drives great it is smooth and has some kick if needed"

ANDY M., WI (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"From 2011 to present, the Sonata responds with more of a surprising sporty touch. It has a relatively small turning radius and "no lean" handling with its 18-inch wheels that is much better than might be expected in a low-cost four-door sedan."

CAROL E., PA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"For a 4 banger it does okay. would have liked a 6 cyl or turbo"

CHARLES H., OH (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"clunking feeling in the steering system when go over bumps"

Anonymous, FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Actually the main drawback of this vehicle is that my wife cannot see well enough out the smallish windows. No major repairs, still looks newish."

PHILIP B., CA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Very Good Acceleration and Handling for a 4-Cylinder Engine."

LARRY G., MS (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"decent acceleration, handles well."

Anonymous, PA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Hyundai needs to offer a six cylinder engine.the 285 HP engine I'd truly efficient, but is annoying when you have to accelerate."

Anonymous, SC (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The transmission slips when accelerating at higher speeds such as on the interstate."

ALBERT M., FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

Anonymous, HI (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"I was impressed with the responsiveness of the 198 horsepower 4 cylinder. It is very easy to accelerate or maintain any desired engine speed."

JAMES I., AL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Acceleration and handling exceptional. Mileage on highway at speeds of 75-80 consistently at 30-32. I have even considered taking car to Texas Motor speedway just to find out just what this car will do"

MARION C., TX (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

Anonymous, CA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"My Sonata is the "Sport Edition" with the 2.0T 274 hp engine. The suspension is 20% stiffer than the same car without these features. The car is ideal for my foothill country, curvy roads. It is a powerful, supple and comfortable car. It exceeds my needs as a driver and it's fun to drive."

CHARLES F., CA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"good ride but for noise"

CHARLES S., UT (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The car tends to wander and steer toward low spots in the pavement during highway driving. The steering sensitivity is too great at highway speeds. The steering is tuned lick a twitchy little rally car. Acceleration is awesome."

Anonymous, BC (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Ease of use."

LINDA B., OH (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"More acceleration that required. Handles well, not exceptional, but well and competently."

Anonymous, VA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"handles and shifts very smooth"

DOLORES G., FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Fantastic up hills, quiet, reactive handling. 5 years later, still love it"

BARBARA M., TX (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The Sonata has excellent handling, and I especially like the tight turning radius. The Sonata's ride isn't quite as smooth and quiet as a couple of the more expensive cars we considered, but this hasn't been a problem for us."

Anonymous, NE (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Fair handling, poor control with accelerating"

LEWIS A., FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"handles like a sports car in an emergency - sticks to the road nicely, steering control is rtight on"

DOUGLAS B., FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"One of the reasons I purchased this car is the excellent acceleration at 50-55, allowing me to successfully pass on our hilly, curvy two lane roads while still averaging 33mpg."

S R., NY (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The acceleration of the 2.4 non-turbo engine I find excellent. They handling (cornering) is good, but somehow doesn't give a positive feel. As a contrast, my 2014 Outback, being taller, won't corner as well as the Sonata, but it has a more solid, positive 'feel'."

Anonymous, CT (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The car has had many problems from the start, including veering to the right or the left if you let go of the steering wheel. When I took it to the dealer a week after purchasing they said it was normal. A month or two later they did an alignment but he problem was never corrected. Consequently the tires wear out constantly. The passenger side seat is too low and crampy. Noisy ride."

REYNALDO M., FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"My only complaint on the Sonata is getting in and out. That of course would fit any vehicle except for full sized. At 77 and retired I could not afford something that large so settlrd for the mid sized Sonata. Performance is darn good."

JAY B., IN (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"That same stiff suspension is fun to drive on roads that require good handling. The acceleration is fine for my purposes."

JIM M., CA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Great handling and acceleration. Fun to drive."

DAN D., KY (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"My Hyundai did not come with all weather tires. When I bought the car and asked if I had good tires, the dealer said yes. Until I bought good all weather tires, my car did not do well in the snow - at times, it was dangerous. All that changed when I bought good all weather tires.- I love the quick acceleration!"

JOAN M., CO (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"I've driven manual transmission vehicles for 20+ years, and this car has the least pleasant one I've ever encountered. The friction zone is narrow and the throttle is very sensitive just off idle, which combine to make successful smooth starts a feat of concentration."

WAYNE W., OR (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Difficult to keep wheel alignment; also wind causes car to not drive straight with out constant correction. Unfortunately most "american" designed cars are always seemingly much easier to steer in crosswinds, on curves, and slanting surfaces."

LARRY H., FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Comfortable, great mpg and acceleration"

Anonymous, NY (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Acceleration is spotty; sometimes it requires very little pedal pressure to accelerate, & other times you have to floor it to get from 0 to 60 mph"

LORI T., NY (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The 4 cylinder engine does well, and rarely do I miss having a V6. However, the Eco boost is about worthless. When the Eco system is active I lose 3-5 MPG. I have done some traveling recently and the only time it seems to be beneficial is in VERY flat cities."

SEAN C., PA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"a lot of pep, acceleration, easy to park and handle on the road"

JOSEPH R., NY (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"all wheel drive preferred in winter. It may get stuck in our driveway with its front wheel drive."

EWART M., NS (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The option of selecting normal, Eco and Sport drive modes according to topography and road conditions is a real plus. The tight turning radius and ease of handling makes it easy to get in and out of tight spaces. Overall fuel economy is no better, marginally worse than my 2011 Hundai Sonata."

Anonymous, NH (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Amazing acceleration for a 4 cyl engine."

Anonymous, CA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The 2.0 Turbo provides great acceralation and the car handles very well. It is fun to drive! It has all of the power that we need or would want."

ALISTAIR A., AB (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The 2.0 Turbo has 275 horsepower and is a joy to drive. Probably the most horsepower for the buck. Newer models have been reduced to 245 hp. With the performance tires, this is a fun car to drive at a very economical price."

TERRENCE T., FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

Includes seats, climate control, noise, and ride

What Owners Say

"The seats are comfortable, however, the right front seat cannot be raised, nor does it have the lumbar control support that is available in the drivers seat. I am 5'2" and if someone else is driving and I am the passenger I can barely see above the dashboard. I would like to have the same comfort in this seat as in the driver's seat."

A H., MA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Seat cushion seem a little short. Ride is somewhat noisy."

THOMAS B., AZ (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Road noise"

PAT T., IA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Passenger seat too low and not comfortable"

JEANETTE W., IA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"HEADLAMPS. The illumination provided by headlamps is not as good as I've had in cars I've owned in the past. I just drove a new 2016 and Hyundai has addressed that issue. The new headlamps are amazing. SEATS. The passenger seat has limited adjustment potential. It is low and moves forward/back, but does not raise or lower. Difficult for a very short person. This has also been corrected in the 2016 model."

JULIA M., WI (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The seats are fine for local driving, but become uncomfortable on road trips"

Anonymous, UT (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Fairly stiff rude but great handling. Heater is a bit slow and weak."

Anonymous, MI (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Hate riding in the front passenger seat. It sits way too low."

SANDRA H., VA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Loud road noise"

GARY C., NY (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"There is excessive road noise. Passenger seat in front is inferior -- it is too low and not comfortable."

Anonymous, OH (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The ride is stiffer than previous Sonatas. I knew that going in but on bumpy roads the ride is jarring. I'm told it has a BMW suspension"

JIM M., CA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Passenger front seat cannot be adjusted therefore you feel like you are sitting down in a hole."

Anonymous, OH (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Seats too narrow and passenger seat sits too low for a small person. They can't see out of windows side or front. You can hear a lot of road noise.Came with tires not rated for fowl werather driving."

Anonymous, WA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The only comfort issue I have is with road noise. It is almost impossible to carry on a conversation with someone in the back seat."

Anonymous, TX (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Loud. Too much road noise."

HORACE T., TN (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Leatherette tends to turn yellow due to extreme heat although they blame the owner for it."

Anonymous, TX (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Seating is a little low for me. 6'4'. Some problems with electronics on driver's seat. Est from dealer $2000 to fix. Not fixing. Love the car overall though."

CHERYL C., TX (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Feel every road bump A little noisy"

DAVID K., PA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Passenger front seat too low and not electric in the Hyundai Limited Edition. Something we missed when we bought it. It should be part of limited edition."

Anonymous, NY (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Spacious, comfortable sedan. Somewhat more road noise than expected."

Anonymous, MN (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Stiff ride"

Anonymous, NY (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"the riding comfort is great, but the only thing I dislike about the Sonata is road noise. sometimes on long trips it's annoying."

Anonymous, TX (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Only manual adjustments. Don't give enough control. Can't find the "right" position. They also sit VERY low which makes it difficult to get in and out."

JOHN S., NY (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"passenger seat is too low. Climate control is excellent. Noise is good. Ride comfortable."

GERALD M., CO (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Engine noise I consider above average. Ride and handling are good. Does not have automatic climate control. Air conditioning is slow to cool at first. Seats are moderately comfortable."

JOHN G., NJ (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The original equipment 20 in Hancook tires were noisy, and the ride could be better. At the dealer, service manager recommended changing to 18 inch wheels tires like Michlins or Conteninalt tires. Vast improvement when I made this change. Decibel cabin noise went from 109 down to 85!"

BRUCE M., AZ (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Much road noise and too much feel of the road. Feel bumps too easily."

ANDY A., NV (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"the driver seat controls work very well to improve one's driving position. The seat heater works great. The individual A/C controls work great. It has great handling, smooth, quiet ride and very little noise from outside the car. it's very easy for speed to creep up on you."

GEORGE H., VA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The seats are not comfortable. The driver seat does not pull forward enough for my mother to drive. The front passenger seat is very uncomfortable and so low you cannot see out. The rest of the car is great but would not buy it again because of the uncomfortable seats."

BARBARA K., NM (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Very nice ride. Soft and stable. Feels like a higher priced car"

RANDOLPHER F., PA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The front passenger seat is very low and makes my wife feel like a child when seating in it. It can not be adjusted."

Anonymous, CA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"great front seats w/an amazing amount of room and the lumbar support for the driver is excellent"

Anonymous, VA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Passenger seat too low and not adjustable. Newer models fixed this."

Anonymous, SC (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"I love the handling and miles per gallon of gas. The Sonata is Beautiful and has a tight ride. Thank You"

LARRY G., MS (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Ride is stiff. Seats, climate control, noise are all very good. I just personally think the ride is stiff"

Anonymous, OH (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Front passenger seat is very low and does not adjust."

MICHAEL H., NJ (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"It rides a little bumpy and has a little road noise. Just not like the Buicks of the old days. None the less, I like it."

ROBERT C., AZ (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"very comfortable controls within reach"

JOSEPH R., NY (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Road noise is a bit louder than i am use too. But not unreasonable. A little low for a 6 foot person getting in or out. bought care for wife five foot 4 inches perfect for her."

ROBERT G., CA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"noise and ride could be better"

ROBERT S., FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"y vehicle. Purchase used with low miles and performance is top notch. My getting and out is very tough. My over mileage very good at 22 city and 35 highway. You need to have check boxes for mileage in previous questions. Though now Isee we can use it here as I just did."

JAY B., IN (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"road noise can be loud sometimes. front passenger seat is placed a little too low."

Anonymous, GA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The low profile tires produce a harsh ride. The roof of the vehicle is curved too low for comfortable entry. Keep hitting my head on it even knowing the problem, The blue backlight (other than dashboard). Is too dim at night to see easily."

M L., MD (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Passenger seat too low . Car too low i.e. "bottoms out" going over a bump."

- J., NY (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Front body parts put together with glue..Too low for cui curbs...easy to damage .no remedy e4xcept spend over $600. to repair.Would not recommend nor buy another..R. Lowry"

ROBERT L., NC (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The single complaint I have is noisy."

Anonymous, FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"I find that the seats are not as comfortable as they could be, but are acceptable. The road noise is a little louder than I would like, but once again, it is not too bad."

RON S., FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The seats are too hard and have limited adjustment for my preference. The steering column adjustment is also too limited. Climate control is good, but A/C can barely cope on very warm days. The steering is much too sensitive for comfortable highway driving. The ride is a bit stiff. Wind noise is acceptable but road and tire noise is very bad."

Anonymous, BC (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"My Sonata has more than adequate front seat legroom. Recently test drove a 2016 Accord and found that the footrest was so high that it seriously compromised legroom, forcing me to drive with my left leg bent and one foot elevated. For this reason I decided to keep driving my 2011 Sonata for at least another year."

Anonymous, AL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"I primarily drive the 2009 Sonata. That's because the 2011 was redesigned and now sits so low that I can't see over the steering wheel, even when the seat is raised to the highest level. I can also feel the difference in acceleration, since this one is a 4cyl, and the 2009 is a 6. Because of these two factors, I'd never purchase another Sonata, unless future design changes restores the comfortable seating and the availability of a 6 cyl."

SHEILA G., NV (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"My elderly mother (age 78) and I recently drove from Sacramento to San Diego. We both have back problems and usually have issues on very long road trips. However, we drove all the way to San Diego (about 5.5 hours) and only had one stop -- for dinner. We were astonished to discover that neither one of us had any back pain (or other physical issues relating to long drives), and didn't have any problems on the return trip either. This is a very comfortable car, both for local trips and long drives"

JEFFERY A., CA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"passenger seat sits very low. Hyundai should put the same adjustment lever as is on the driver's side"

KATHRYN B., UT (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The ride is quite a bit firmer/harsher than it needs to be. Even small pot holes, which are common where I live, are jarring."

WAYNE W., OR (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Our only concern about our Sonata is that the electronic seat controls on the driver side do not have a memory function, so it is inconvenient when we change drivers. The passenger side does not have power seats but we would prefer if it did. Option was not available when we bought our car."

NORMAN H., IL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Seat will not adjust high enough to be able to see over the dash in order to park easily"

Anonymous, VA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The front passenger seat is very low with windows that are higher up than most cars. This makes passenger feel like they have difficulty seeing out (like a small child)."

KIMBERLY V., VA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"acceleration is mediocre especially with AC on"

Anonymous, TX (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Seats are very uncomfortable, both fabric and stiffness/firmness. Passenger seat is especially unenjoyable because it is too low, which is magnified by the fact that the beltline is high; i.e., the side windows are narrow top to bottom, due the the sleek styling, causing you to feel that you are sitting even lower. No vertical adjustment available."

JASON G., MA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"I can drive long distances in total comfort. The seats are leather and although I'm a heavier than usual driver, the seat fits like a glove. There is plenty of room in the front and back seats for most passengers. My son and law is 6'4" and he fits in the back seat without difficulty."

LOUIS B., TX (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"This car is noisy on the road and not as smooth riding as I would like."

Anonymous, FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The seats are not the most comfortable especially on long trips. I also wish on the set you were able to tilt the front of the seat down, otherwise all was good"

Anonymous, IL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Interior of car is noisy, esp in the backseat. Also dislike how bumpy the ride is in the backseat---I admittedly live where the roads are atrocious, but it feels like a tin can on wheels sometimes!"

VICTORIA R., RI (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"passenger seat uncomfortable - no lumbar support like the driver has"

Anonymous, FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Initially the seats feel a bit firm once you sit in them but, once you drive the car over a period of time the firmness isn't that noticeable."

RICARDO H., IL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Comfort: This is the hardest riding car that I have ever owned. It is a rock-hard ride which is tiring, even on short trips. Clearly the biggest fault in this otherwise nice car. The seats, climate control, and noise are acceptable, but not the hard ride."

K G., NC (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Primarily driving position - pedal distance to steering wheel position. Hard to find comfortable spot to satisfy offset from steering wheel and still maintain contact on brake pedal. Excessive noise at highway speed. Also, severe understeer."

Anonymous, ON (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The A/C system sometimes does want to blow out the cold air because it it so hot inside the car, playing with the controls and buttons, it starts. We just don't remember how we got it started. It does not happen often, only when it is about 102 plus degrees in El Paso."

LOURDES C., TX (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

Did you get what you wanted relative to the price you paid?

What Owners Say

"I always try to buy a car that has a nice but not extravagant set of features and CLOTH seats(leather is too hot in summer and too cold in winter). This car had ac, cruise, power windows/locks/, decent audio, and iPhone connection. It cost about $2k less than its competitors and had a 60% linger warranty. It looks great, runs great, and has had only one repair for a starter lever in 106000 miles. Very reliable and fun to drive!"

DONALD C., IL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The manual transmission that I bought makes the Sonata a very peppy and responsive car. Plus, car dealers can't get rid of them and lower the price below used car value on KBB and Edmunds estimations."

WARREN L., TN (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Its been a very car overall. Very few maechanical issues. Greay ride for the money."

Anonymous, CO (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Don't buy from this company. Needs new engine, "no fault of my own" after only 130000 miles. Electronic door locks failed after warranty. Just like the engine. Many recalls. Worst car of my 65 years."

DAVID D., NC (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Overall, lots of features with the SE trim to include GPS navigation, push start ignition, and moon roof. Features at the time were on much more expensive vehicles. Problems with ignition/steering system have been problematic, starter replaced."

Anonymous, FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Overall, a good value purchase, 10-year power-train warranty was deciding factor to buy."

CHRIS E., CA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

SHAMEEM K., MN (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

MCCAULEY J., MS (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Sonata in 2011 was relatively new to US market, got a lot for the money, car comparable to Honda Accord for a lot less money."

Anonymous, CA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Good value in comparison to other cars of this type."

CHARLES S., UT (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Value vs trade in was poor !!"

WAYNE L., ON (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Practical car with a style that does not appear outdated. Great gas mileage."

LINDA B., OH (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Rick Case wanted 10K over list while Coconut Creek gave me a reduced price and threw in $4K in options"

WILLIAM W., FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"This model and trim level included a surprising array of the then-available "bells and whistles" at a very reasonable price. The back-up camera, navigation system, blue tooth, and other features have been greatly appreciated. (Only mild disappointments: The "leather" seats seem more like a type of vinyl or artificial leather than real leather, and the air conditioning takes too long to start emitting cool air on hot days.)"

DON M., MS (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

RANDOLPHER F., PA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

K G., NC (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Great new styling made it the #1 selling model that year. Looks much more expensive than it was."

TERRENCE T., FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"I would recommend this car. It has performed flawlessly. I received it as a Christmas gift from my daughter, brand new. Neither of us has ever regretted it!"

CHARLES F., CA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"I didn't expect to get a car that uses a quart of oil every 2000 miles at 85,000 mi... Now at 137,000 is using a quart every other tank of gas. The only way to repair or fix it is to rebuild the motor.. Some other models have been recalled for this problem but not ours..."

"You can't beat the warranty on this vehicle. The engine locked up and they replaced it. We've had a few little things go bad, and they didn't hesitate to repair them."

TOM S., CA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Has better styling than most other cars and all the same features of cars costing tice as much. Also has a better warranty than most cars."

JAMES S., FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Disappointing gas mileage for everyday city driving. This is NOT a good commuter car. Highway/trip mileage is good."

Anonymous, MN (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"We only use this vehicle for long (highway) trips. Around town it gets only about 25 mpg."

FRED C., FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Very low maintenance. 2 problems in last 6 months - steering coupler and starter. Car has 94000 miles and still looks good. Ride is fine but seats could be more comfortable."

Anonymous, FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"I bought the lowest-end model (the last year of the manual transmissions). This car has been an outstanding value. I have only had to do routine maintenance (tires, brakes, battery) in the 107,000 miles. I have never had any other brand of car last more than 90,000 miles, and my Sonata continues to operate like a workhorse. I would purchase another Sonata without hesitation."

CHRISTOPHER S., OH (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"bad gas mileage nosie bad"

SHERIDAN F., PA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"When we bought this car in May 2010, it cost about $20,000 before taxes including the trade-in of our 1996 Honda Accord. Maintenance costs have been low, no major repairs to date. It cost us at least $3,000 less than comparable cars (Toyota, Honda, Ford, Subaru) that we considered."

Anonymous, NE (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

How it looks inside and out

What Owners Say

"It is difficult to see out of this car. The design of the front windows/windshield has a large column that obstructs my view. I believe this is because I'm short - 5'2". I've raised the seat as much as possible and it doesn't help. I also has to remove the back seat head rests to be able to see out the back window. Even with that, I have no idea where the car ends. I definitely need a rear view camera but this model doesn't have it. I believe I would like this car much more if I were tall"

JOAN F., IL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"Great style design both inside and out. At 50,000 mile mark it seems more increasing cost for regular maintance schedules."

"Beautiful lines."

JAMES S., FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The 2011 Hyundai Sonata is a very attractive vehicle, with line that are representative of a much more expensive car."

Anonymous, ON (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"In our opinion, both the exterior lines and the interior styling (e.g., the dash and "center stack" design and arrangement of controls) of the 2011 are more striking, classy, and unique than those since 2015. The current model year Sonatas are too "cookie cutter" similar to so many other models from both domestic and foreign automakers. A big incentive to hang onto what we have despite the high miles."

DON M., MS (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"VERY STYLISH, very modern (many comments on this from friends), easy to keep clean"

CLARKE T., ON (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"one of the reasons I bought it (much curb appeal). Also 4 cy turbo engine is responsive, gets good mileage (32-33 MPG highway) ON REGULAR gas"

Anonymous, FL (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

Anonymous, HI (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"In 2011 the styling was ahead of its time, so it still looks like a new car. The turbo charged engine kicks in more hp than one might expect and, of course, is only used for a few seconds when needed. The small 2 liter four-cylinder engine, meanwhile, gets good gas mileage."

CAROL E., PA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"The interior could be a big nicer. Some of the dashboard controls and things are a bit cheap looking."

PAUL G., MD (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"This was the first year with the new style. It looks sharp and 100 times better than the old model."

ANDY M., WI (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"This model is not at all boring. The exterior styling is striking. When it was new, it drew lots of attention. I would come out of a restaurant and find someone examining the car. Even now, within the past week, someone asked me about it."

"Modern styling"

Anonymous, CA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"This is to my eyes the most appealing styling design of any current production car at any price point."

Anonymous, MA (2011 Hyundai Sonata)

"It's very obvious that a great deal of effort went in to the overall design, to make it smoothly integrated in it's functionality in terms of both "look" and "feel". In all respects, it is a much more "upscale" car than cost should indicate. In comparison, I'm always a bit shocked at how cheap and unsophisticated my friends later-model Camry feels."
