What Owners Say
"Appears to be a known issue with the info system. System kept rebooting and/or would freeze. Dealer replaced it and it works fine now."
Anonymous, CA (2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6-L V6)"Has lost data and unable to add new data....ie: does not add recent locations to list....AND... it does not load my phone contacts any longer"
Anonymous, MO (2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 3.6-L V6)"When I attempted a map update it locked the whole system and I had no access to the any of the electronics. I was forced to spend money to have the dealership reset the system."
Anonymous, GA (2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 3.6-L V6)"System was giving wrong directions"
Anonymous, CT (2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude 3.6-L V6)"GPS system failed in 3 mos and replacement failed in 2 mos"
Anonymous, MD (2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit 5.7-L V8)"The base system in the Laredo trim is poor quality and doesn't function well with an iPhone at all. It seems to be more readily set to work with Android phones as you can't use Siri or your address book from the iPhone with the controls on the steering wheel. Intermittent static and connection failures all the time as well."
Anonymous, MA (2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 3.6-L V6)"Fails with GPS since it is all one unit. Affecting climate control as well"
Anonymous, MD (2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit 5.7-L V8)"Recall on software that controlled the cruise control feature"
Anonymous, MA (2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 3.6-L V6)"The vehicle has been in the service center over eight times for easy entry/exit feature. The feature is supposed to # One: move the driver's seat back all the way and move the steering wheel up for exit. # Two: Move the seat back to last driver's position when the door closes. A convenient feature especially since I'm 68 and my wife 60. They have reprogrammed, tested, reinstalled, and nothing seems to fix it. It works for a few weeks and then it loses the configuration. The only problem we have with the vehicle is the electronic package."
Steve M., WA (2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 3.6-L V6)
"At times the screen freezes up and does not react to touch. It usually back within 8 - 10 seconds. Averages about once or twice a month. A few times the GPS does not work properly and needs to reset itself, sometimes that has taken a few minutes"
