CR's Take
This well-designed sedan is based on the less lavish and less expensive Toyota Camry. Its ride is smooth and exceptionally quiet. The silky-smooth 3.0-liter V6 provides brisk acceleration, and the automatic transmission shifts flawlessly. Traction control is standard, and stability control is optional. Handling is sure and predictable but unexceptional. Braking is very good. The front seats are comfortable. The rear seat is fine for two adults but crowded for three. Up-to-date safety equipment is standard. Fit and finish are first-rate.
