Perry R., IL (2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C300 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)
Display screen freezes up

Anonymous, GA (2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C300 1.8-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"Display froze, then flashed, then the COMAND system rebooted, again and again. This disables the rear camera, radio, everything. I was told that the issue was that the GPS had to be updated, which was repaired under warranty. Fortunately no problems since"

Anonymous, NY (2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C300 3.0-L V6 turbo)

"Sometimes it unpairs. Pairing is not intuitive. It takes a while to pair again, or it just comes back by itself, but not fun when driving."

Anonymous, IL (2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C300 1.8-L 4 Cyl turbo)

All this time the radio, CD, and other devices are non-working. I took the car to the dealer and was told it was a known problem for this year C-class. They said a fix was available, but cause other problems if I have Sirius. Since I do not have a Sirius subcription, they reloaded the software that manages the radio, CD and ther devices. Dana B., NY (2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C300 3.0-L V6 turbo)

"Went to get into the car & neither key faub would work. Had to unlock it manually with the key and that set the alarm off, but we were able to stop the alarm"

Anonymous, GA (2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C400 3.0-L V6 turbo)

"The problem has existed since I bought the car, new. It's a simple problem, the Keyless Go feature will not work at times, it will just not unlock the door, or any of the four doors. I must open the door manually by pushing a button on the fob. The car is not driven much so there is less opportunity to experience the issue. But I may experience it problem twice a month or go for many months with experiencing the issue. The dealership has looked at the problem many, many times and have been unable to fix the problem. How is it that after all this time they have no idea what causes it to not work. I have switched fobs with my wife (she has her own) but that didn't help. That seems to point a problem in the car itself. Nothing they have suggested works. It makes me wonder if the bothersome little problem has a very expensive solution that they don't want to pursue. I have kept logs as to time of day and location of the car when the problem occurred. I have provided many videos of the problem. Once the problem occurred within 2 hours of me getting to the dealership but they still found no evidence of a problem. I did not start keeping a log until 11/24/15. Since then I have documented the Keyless Go has failed work 21 times."

Anonymous, FL (2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C300 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)

Dana B., NY (2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C300 3.0-L V6 turbo)

"The system has told me multiple times that more air pressure is needed in tires. One time it would not go off despite filling tires to correct pressure"

Mircea I., OH (2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C300 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"I don't know exactly what the problem was diagnosed as, but the car had to returned to the dealership twice, each time to wait on a part that had to be sent over from Germany. Each repair was about $4000, but the dealership charged only $400 per incident for customer relations. Evidently it was a very important part that was buried deep in the engine."

What Owners Say

Alignment

"Front tires were wearing on the sides of the tires. Dealer rotated the tires (which had been rotated at 7000 but hadn't been done after that even when I went in for regular maintenance). The alignment was done for safety concerns because we have a lot of pot holes after winter season"

So far MERCEDES-BENZ has covered it under warranty, but they keep telling us they will not going forward. The car only has 10,000 miles on it! We also had to have all of the interior upholstery replaced due to a salt and grease like film on the seats and headrests. Both of these are known problems with the C300. The upholstery was covered under warranty."

Anonymous, WI (2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C300 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"Brakes squeak when starting the day"

Anonymous, IL (2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C300 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"We have had the MERCEDES-BENZ C300 in every year for very loud squeaking brakes when the temperature goes below 32 degrees F. The dealer just keeps changing the pads which stops the squeaking for awhile. They are now going to change the rotors after a recent scheduled maintenance said we needed rotors and I complained.
