Replaced door skin and rocker panels. Ongoing issues with tailgate latch since 2023 - dealer misdiagnosed (or neglected) the issue. Resolved recently 2025 by replacing bushing and latch."

    Climate System

AC compressor, blower (fan) motor, condenser, evaporator, heater system, automatic climate system, electrical failure, refrigerant leakage.

    What Owners Say

    Evaporator

""Evaporator coil required replacement due to age. It was a difficult part to get to and required pulling dashboard. At the same time, because of cost, and age, it made sense to replace the heater core too. VERY expensive fix. However, Extended warranty saved tons of money. Well worth it. Cools and heats great now at 15 years old.""

    What Owners Say

    Electrical failure

""Voltage gauge started dropping below normal levels while driving and engine and charging lights displayed while driving. Went off by themselves. Sometimes stayed on for a few minutes. Technician said I could still drive it till he could make time for review. This went on for about a week. Then, the day I took it to the shop it was draining badly. Ironically, just as I got it to the shop it was dead. Alternator was replaced. However, could not start the car as it was confirmed the ECM, Engine Control Module, was "fried". Don't know if that was related to the original symptoms of voltage meter declining and/or damage to alternator or whether dying alternator caused ECM failure. Regardless, ECM component is VERY EXPENSIVE, and generally, you must replace the entire module rather than just a key electrical/starting component within it. Down time was a pain. My mechanic turned me on to a special U.S. shop that specialized in just the refurbishment/remanufacturing of such a component at a price hundreds of dollars versus new from the OEM. They provided EXCELLENT service and got the part in just 5 days or so. Otherwise, it was looking for possibly two weeks. Car STILL running/starting awesome.""
