What Owners Say
""Radio, display, back up camera all failed. Took the dealer 12 months to fix, cost $2000""
Anonymous, BC (2018 Ram 1500 Unsure 3.6-L V6)"It started with the radio jumping stations every few minutes. Our daughter had the same year and model truck and her screen went blank. Dealer told us it would be $2300 to resolve our problem. We knew it would get worse. We elected to check out Utube and with after market u connect and videos repaired it ourselves for $150. Very disappointed in Ram not standing not repairing because "it was not a safety problem""
Anonymous A., MI (2018 Ram 1500 Big Horn 5.7-L V8)"Electric dash control system failure problem electronics failure dur to excessive heat in side cabin not covered by warrant $500+ repair"
Anonymous, CA (2018 Ram 1500 Big Horn 5.7-L V8)"The screen delaminated, causing the touchscreen to go haywire and turn systems on and off throughout the vehicle on its own. I had to have the entire thing replaced for a cost of nearly $800."
Anonymous, NY (2018 Ram 1500 Big Horn 5.7-L V8)""Screen jumps from one feature to another. Supposedly because oil layer leaked out between the screen and the panel.Has not been resolved, want 1200.00 for a new radio.""
Anonymous A., MO (2018 Ram 1500 Laramie 5.7-L V8)"Experienced rarely. Radio would not come on. The vehicle had been to the dealer for this issue in the past. It was determined to be a software or firmware issue, but updates to them never resolved the issue. The only way to correct the problem is to change the radio to AM and then it mysteriously comes on."
Anonymous, TX (2018 Ram 1500 Laramie 5.7-L V8)"Entire radio needed to be replaced."
