The Outback wagon has long been a popular all-wheel-drive alternative to a small SUV, especially for those living in more northern climes. It's a very practical package, with great visibility, a roomy back seat and a spacious cargo hold. Fuel economy is a class-leading 24 mpg overall. The four-cylinder version has long been impressive, but the Outback isn't exactly a pleasure to drive.

What Owners Say

"3.6 engine is great, and it uses regular gas"

Anonymous, CA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Solid in the snow, on gravel roads and even on off-road jeep trails. Suspension is robust. Good hwy handling and ride."

Mark A., WA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Enjoyable ride, but some road noise"

Anonymous, GA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"It handles wonderfully on back roads, BLM roads, winding roads. Acceleration for the little 2.5 is remarkable, considering the weight of the vehicle. It got up my driveway with 18 inches of snow when my F-150 wouldn't. I especially like to drive it on the highway to Brookings, Oregon, which is a highway with lots of curves. It also stops very quickly."

Greg H., OR (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Nice ride. Littlr road moise"

Anonymous, IN (2013 Subaru Outback)

"fair acceleration, solid on turns"

Mike R., MN (2013 Subaru Outback)

"It has poor acceleration and it uses oil."

Anonymous, UT (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Acceleration is great for a 32mpg all wheel drive car. Handling is assuring and confident on road and off."

Anonymous, VT (2013 Subaru Outback)

"excellent handling in the rain and bad weather"

Gregory M., IL (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Poor acceleration from the 4 cylinder engine. And the tranny always makes a whinny noise as well for this 2013 model."

Anonymous, AZ (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The handling of the car is not what we have come to expect with Subaru's. It seems to be primarily due to the steering response. And the car seems to bounce around in windy conditions."

Robert G., MI (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Safety. Improves driver engagement"

Anonymous, NY (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The 'hill' feature is such a great asset to have when waiting at a light on a hill. When first accelerating, the brake prevents you from rolling back but then easily released as you accelerate."

Catherine B., TX (2013 Subaru Outback)

"I have only one 2013 Subaru Outback"

Robert F., UT (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Slow, jerky acceleration with poor sloppy handling"

Neal H., SC (2013 Subaru Outback)

Ed I., FL (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Very peppy compared to 4 cylinder Outbacks."

D V., PA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Very good acceleration on local and highway with the 6 cyl engine. NImble handling for a wagon/small SUV. ."

Alex L., NC (2013 Subaru Outback)

"adaptive cruise control, lane alerts, all functions of the eyesight system are great. Backup camera and gps mapping are also very good."

Charles R., WA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Handles better than SUV and has good acceleration,as well as decent mileage with regular gas."

M D., FL (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Slow sluggish acceleration with cut transmission."

Eric G., WI (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The 3.6 liter engine has plenty of power for all types of driving conditions. The care is easy to handle and it maneuvers well."

Anne H., CA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Stops quickly"

Anonymous, MA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Smooth excelleration"

Anonymous, NY (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Its my second Subaru, then my dad got one (Forester), then my mom got a Crosstrek. Subaru's are consistently well-made, consistently win awards for their safety features and performance and they retain their resale value. Love Subaru!"

Anonymous, ON (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The Outback is a heavy solid SUV. The acceleration is sluggish...my only complaint."

Anonymous, AZ (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The Outback has wandered on highways since day one. Have aligned and changed tires. no change. Subaru claims no issue, but have read of other complaints on internet."

Lee C., NY (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Acceleration is just fair. Engine is barely adequate for vehicle size and weight."

Jesse L., PA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Acceleration can feel odd with a feelin the engine is missing"

Heather F., AK (2013 Subaru Outback)

"slow with sloppy and vague steering"

Neal H., SC (2013 Subaru Outback)

"compared to my old BMW 330 xi handling is quite good"

Anonymous, NS (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Doesn’t have tremendous power when passing another car."

Anonymous, OR (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The car over steers. I find this tiring in long trips as I must be extra alert concerning the car's ability to stay in a lane."

John P., ME (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Adequate power for mountain driving."

Anonymous, CO (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The ride is wonderful, very comfortable. After driving long distance not too tired. Very smooth ride love the car."

Anonymous, NY (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Cot is fun to drive, has sufficient get up & go"

Anonymous, MI (2013 Subaru Outback)

"I do not enjoy driving this car in the city. It is like driving a tank. The pick up is sluggish and the steering isn't great. While the ride is smooth and relatively quiet, if the road is at all uneven (with potholes or rocks) it rocks back and forth so much. I often regret buying it, and am always considering getting a car that is more fun to drive and smaller. I wish I at least had gotten the larger engine and a later model."

Anonymous, CA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The car accelerates smoothly and is quite."

Anonymous, TX (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Being above other cars helps me "see" the traffic around me, Acceleration is terrific."

Kathleen K., OR (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Acceptable driving Dynamics"

Anonymous, RI (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Sometimes there is a hesitation between pushing down on the accelerator and going faster."

Anonymous, IN (2013 Subaru Outback)

"I love the small turning radius, but the way it hugs the curves and the fun factor while driving hilly curving roads all seasons is great."

Anonymous, ME (2013 Subaru Outback)

"it has a 4 cylinder engine and at times the acceleration is not very good. particularly in the mountains."

T Z., AZ (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Handles great and plenty of acceleration"

Bonnie J., IL (2013 Subaru Outback)

"This car is extremely under powered. Interstate merging is a game of chance."

Don F., AR (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Hugs the road. Steering-is firm and controlled"

Anonymous, PA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"All wheel drive all the time."

R S., NY (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Acceleration is weak in this vehicle. Handling is good."

James H., VA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The CVT is very touchy - we call our car "Lurch" - but it handles well in all conditions, and there's nothing better in wet or snowy conditions."

Donald S., CA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Acceleration adequate. Only 175 hp with no turbo. Noisy when accelerating. Think it's the CVT. Handles very well. Very easy and comfortable to drive."

Bruce D., FL (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The acceleration is rather poor on this car. The 4 cylinder engine is a little under-powered; specifically from dead stop and highway passing maneuvers. The other annoyance is the lag-time with the transmission when switching from Reverse and into Drive."

Chris M., ME (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Generally, the good is that this car is solid and agile. Also, it has a tight turning radius. The bad is that this car in the beginning had a slightly too resistant steering control, causing the driver to continuously over-correct while driving on the highway. I researched the problem with a technical shop manual, informed the dealer service department, and after several hours of discussion with Subaru of America, they pretty much solved the problem. Many people owning 2010-2014 Subaru Outbacks reported this problem in blogs. That is how I traced the problem. I was surprised that the dealer knew nothing about the problem. The service manager asked me to leave my copies of the relevant service manual pages for his own future reference. Does that mean that dealer service departments don't have technical manuals for each car they sell? I was able to get my official OEM manual online for about $15. This is the only significant complaint I have had with this vehicle. Other than this, I am very pleased with it."

Roger P., MI (2013 Subaru Outback)

"good handling in all kinds of road & weather conditions"

Anonymous, CA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"excellent performance both on and off the road. Good power off the line. A set of better quality tires other than OEM makes a huge difference in handling and ride."

Jeremy M., CA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Acceleration is very peppy in all situations. Handling on curves is tremendous."

Kirk S., TX (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Engine loud on acceleration, but the all whee drive is excellent and saved me from a serious accident from an oncoming car on a snowy road."

Anonymous, DE (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Acceleration is poor with the 4 cylinder engine. It revs very high without seeming to move as quickly as it should."

M P., SC (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Transmission engagement delays, switching to drive or reverse, are excruciatingly long, approximately 3 seconds. The engagement lag results in jerky, overpowered initial movement from stop, as the transmission catches up to accelerator input. Same at stop signs and traffic lights. Once rolling, the transmission adjusts smoothly."

Anonymous, VA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The 2.0 liter 4 cylinder is grossly under powered for this vehicle. Acceleration is abysmal. Road noise is loud and annoying. Don’t get an Outback unless you get the 6 cylinder, or unless you just like driving slow."

Anonymous, CO (2013 Subaru Outback)

"It drives really well"

Bonnie K., SC (2013 Subaru Outback)

"My primary complaint about the handling is related to acceleration. It's a bit under powered and does not start up quickly from a start if needed, and it's slow to gain acceleration when passing."

Anonymous, CO (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The CVT transmission does well except most of the time but on occasion it rev's higher than it should before adjusting to next gear."

Gail W., MD (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The cars drives nice and it handles in the snow about average."

"very good acceleration, helps a lot"

Thomas B., UT (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Handles well on both local roads & highways. Horse power appropriate for my driving style &I love both highway MPG (over 30 on long trips) and use of Regular gas with my 4 cylinder engine."

Anonymous, NJ (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Subaru newer models have much improved acceleration and handling. the 2013 is solid, but not peppy."

"The engine is border line to small but would be better if you had a sport mode option."

Merlin H., MI (2013 Subaru Outback)

"goo acceleration and handling. Feels like a safe ride"

Joseph K., AZ (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The steering is stiff. Takes more effort to turn the steering wheel than other vehicles."

Anonymous, CA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"AWD handling is always better than FWD. It's surefooted, accelerates quickly, and while the steering is a bit heavy at low speed, it handles better once you are going."

Anonymous, DC (2013 Subaru Outback)

"It’s well balanced, and when pushed it performs and gives the driver the proper feedback, so that he or she can drive safely."

Anonymous, IN (2013 Subaru Outback)

Michael W., CA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"all very good"

Anonymous, OR (2013 Subaru Outback)

"dos not hurt my back"

Anonymous, CA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Not very quick, but usually adequate. Fast acceleration is noisy."

Gail L., CA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"We've had five great years with this car and we really like the Eyesight and adaptive cruise. The lane departure warning gets tiresome, so we turn it off. The rear camera display is large and helpful, but a black message obscures it just after starting and just when I need the back-up view. On shifting to PARK, the door unlock should be automatic like Toyota. We're finding the car a little too small."

Tim A., FL (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Uses oil between oil changes! could have more power during acceleration."

Anonymous, VA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Smooth and comfortable ride"

Nathaniel S., MO (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Handles well as steering is not very tight. It is looser and easy to handle. Accelerates OK to get around most vehicles as long as you allow yourself ample room which makes for safer driving."

Bernard M., TX (2013 Subaru Outback)

"acceleration is quick with 3.6R handling is ok around curves; 2004 Forester was better."

Barbara M., MD (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Soooo underpowered."

Casey B., CO (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Excellent acceleration and handling. But Road noise is a bit high."

Anonymous, TX (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Subaru All Wheel Drive has safely and affordably allowed me to commute across a mountain range for 17 years- in 6 Subarus."

Anonymous, VT (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The steering is a little stiffer than other vehicles I've driven, but overall I am pleased with the handling. The car is reasonably quiet under constant speed on the highway, but rather noisy during acceleration."

Anonymous, TN (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The six has power and acceleration, good handling and no response delay like the CVT."

Paul P., NH (2013 Subaru Outback)

"3.6R acceleration is very good, provides safety margin. Handling is so-so, nothing special. Car requires constant steering input to go straight, so no relaxed driving possible."

Anonymous, WA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Great freeway driving car with adaptive cruise control. Crisp precision handling. CVT transmission is better than regular automatic"

J H., NM (2013 Subaru Outback)

"I had a 12 CD disc player in the trunk of my previous Buick. I miss that! I do like that it is easier to maneuver, as it is a smaller car. I've had to get used to the various controls on this first foreign car that I've owned!"

Anonymous, WA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"With the 3.6R motor, it’s simply a joy to drive. Although it’s not a luxury car it’s comfortable and able to satisfy anyone’s driving need, in terms of good dependable transportation. We plan on keeping it as a 2nd car when we buy a replacement"

Gary B., AB (2013 Subaru Outback)

"CVT transmission is smooth and positive"

Anonymous, WA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Although this car is very comfortable on the highway the steering is a bit heavy for city driving and acceleration is a bit slow."

Anonymous, ON (2013 Subaru Outback)

Anonymous, MD (2013 Subaru Outback)

"This car is used for city, rural and highway driving. I am very happy I decided to buy the 6 cyl. A number of times the extra power has been a great advantage or assisted with avoidance of an accident."

"I love the way this car handles on the interstate and around town. The high clearance allows us to park close to the barrier without hitting the bumper. It's easy to get large items in to the back. The seats easily fold down."

Dave M., VA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The 3.6L boxer provides plenty of smooth power and torque. Shifting is smooth and quick. Handling is compliant, but could be a bit tighter, but I'm a spirited driver."

Nathan S., IL (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Overall, the confidence the car gives me, especially in rain or snow. Five years old, 106k, dealer maintenance every 30k, oil change ( Mr. Tire) about every 5 - 6k miles. With all that said, I know this car will do all I ask of it, for perhaps double the miles."

Nancy L., MD (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The CVT is able to make the best out of the 2.5 boxer. Despite of the meagar power numbers, the engine/CVT combo still makes daily driving stress-free."

Anonymous, ON (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Acceleration is adequate (better than older generation Outback) and handling is good but a bit jittery on bumpy or uneven roads."

Mark J., WI (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Handles well. Sufficient power for most tasks."

Anonymous, MA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"love to use the paddles in winter weather conditions to avoid slipping and sliding."

Pat S., NH (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Rough handling on the highway"

ROBERT V., MT (2013 Subaru Outback)

"loves the highway. Downside - after 30,00 miles got a flat that couldn't be fixed and because Subaru said so I had to buy 4 tires. Those Dunlap tires from a goodyear dealer suck."

ARTHUR W., NY (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The full-time AWD is great on rainy days because you don't have to wait for the tires to spin and cause the traction control to kick in. It just accelerates without tire spin. The car is also excellent in snow. The continuously variable transmission works perfectly, but is too noisy."

J F., MD (2013 Subaru Outback)

"transmission lags when floored--potentially dangerous in an emergency"

Anonymous, CA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Poor steering feedback"

PHILIP R., MD (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Compared with driving around home, this car gets greater mpg the faster it goes. I was surprised that when driving highway speeds over a 1000 mile trip, with another passenger and all of our travelling gear, it averaged about 31 mpg!"

Anonymous, CA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"No power with 4 cylinder engine. Whines under heavy throttle and goes nowhere. Loud engine noise"

CRAIG M., OH (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The accellerator is a little balky starting from a dead stop, causing the car to jerk forward a little."

TIM S., AK (2013 Subaru Outback)

"This Outback has the Boxer 6 engine. Power to merge into traffic and accelerate quickly with great visibility. The anti slip features in winter really work. While driving in snow, the rear of the car started to swing out in a skid, the car quickly corrected itself. I was just amazed."

PAUL P., NH (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Solid handling. Great in the rain and on wet streets. No slipping or fishtail. Very glad I got the bigger engine. Air conditioning stays on even on steep hills. Acceleration adequate."

SANDRA A., CA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The handling of the car is excellent in all weather and road conditions."

STEVE T., MI (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Had in twice for steering wandering out of lane. Constantly correcting at 60 MPH or more.Had alignment done twice. Dealer says nothing wrong"

Anonymous, NJ (2013 Subaru Outback)

"When I have stopped, using my left foot on the brake, and then put my right foot on the accelerator, the car does not readily respond, but creeps along at a slow speed. This has happened many, many times. I have repeatedly gone to the dealer and complained and told them about several times this lack of acceleration has almost caused an accident.. Their reply is the stupidest I have ever heard: "don't use your left foot on the brake." I won't buy a Subaru again and won't recommend it to anyo"

Anonymous, OR (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Not a fan of the CV transmission although it does give better gas mileage."

Anonymous, NH (2013 Subaru Outback)

"the 2.5 liter engine with the CVT just has very little acceleration."

LONNY W., CA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Very good. Best acceleration"

ROBERT L., NY (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The Outback handles extremely well in all types of weather. We have been through a couple hard winters with this vehicle and it is the family go to car for all weather conditions. No slips in snow or ice while providing a good comfortable ride."

"My previous car was an Audi A8L. Acceleration from 0 to 60 was 5.2 seconds, need I say more. I am thoroughly satisfied with the Outback, especially for the money invested. My next purchase will be an Forester as it will be easier for the wife while running around in town. We don't really need two full sized vehicles. I had a Forester before in 2009 and was pleased with it."

"The car has a lunging and pulsation in the transmission during acceleration, but the dealer denies any problem."

JEROME B., NC (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The CVT drive does not respond as quickly as a normal automatic transmission. When pulling out into traffic, if I require sudden acceleration it seems as though it is not in first gear or slow shifting down, dangerous if an unseen semi is bearing down on me.I also drive a 1998 Outback which handles much better than the 2013."

What Owners Say

"Would like a little more front legroom."

Allan D., VA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Right front seat should be a six-way adjustable like the driver's seat is. It is uncomfortable on long trips."

Anonymous, VA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Very comfortable seats front and back, road noise is controlled although could be better. Ride is decent, but this is not a sporty vehicle. The fantastic ground clearance is to blame but not to the extent of feeling unsafe a highway speeds compared to other types of SUV/CUVs. OEM tires are terrible."

Anonymous, QC (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Very comfortable seating positions. Better than the 2017 Forester"

Anonymous, MD (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Ride is comfortable, but car leans a bit much for my driving style. Seat comfort is excellent for long trips with plenty of adjustment range. Noise is excellent, the car is very smooth and quite in most cases."

Nathan S., IL (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The headrest pops up and will not stay down. I complained about it the first time I went for service and each time after. They told me there was nothing wrong with it. The headrest hits me in a bad spot--it is directed forward so it is hard to sit straight. I need to use a cushion on the seat because of the way it is shaped--the front of the seat hits me in the middle of my thigh and is hard. This prevents my using the heat. I also need a cushion on the back so that my head is not pushed forward because of the headrest. The car is noisy."

Hope L., VT (2013 Subaru Outback)

"seats are uncomfortable and may cause body/back/leg/foot problems when driving long distances on a daily basis. seats are designed where the seating part closest to the back section tends to sink in and this is not good for one's spine. there is an adjuster but its not enough to offer back and spine support. the gas pedal is so close to this hump that your foot may not have the needed room to move slightly over. also, because of the location on the body on the seat, this affects one's position of legs. This car is not the best choice for tall people and larger boned and heavier bodies. maybe be more suitable for average height but not long legs and lighter and less than average body weight for long drives. the noise control can always be better. the ride is good enough minus the concern with the seats but this takes away a lot. I would need to reconsider my choice in the future if seats are not improved."

The headrest also protrudes so I lean forward when riding. Also more variance in seat height as I don't sit high. The smooth ride, higher up but not as high as an SUV, easy exceleration, reliable handling, and standard safety features still make me glad to have the Outback."

"We have traveled from coast to coast in the past year, a couple of times, with our new puppy along, plus luggage, skis, etc. and have found it to be extremely comfortable and pleasurable to drive for long distances. The seating comfort is very good."

DAVID W., MI (2013 Subaru Outback)

"While the road noise, that is particularly bad in Washington - perhaps due to studded tires, is better on this car than our last Subaru, a 2003 Forester, it is still loud enough that using the Bluetooth telephone makes less than good communication."

Anonymous, WA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"When setting the climate control to the floor vents, a lot of air also comes out of the windshield vents. I'm not sure if this is as designed, or if it's broken, but it can make things uncomfortable in the winter."

Anonymous, NC (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Seats are not very comfortable on long drive. Also, I do not like the cover for the rear cargo area; to open up the area the cargo cover needs to be removed and stored under the cargo mat."

Anonymous, OH (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Has wind noise, Road Noise and hard for me to ride in the right seat, I wear size 16 shoes and have to set side ways because not enough room for my feet. This is my wife's car.. Other than this problems, we like it..."

JERRELL W., TX (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The seats are exceedingly comfortable, especially on a long ride. The ride is a little noisy, but it isn't a luxury car."

LENNART R., VA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"Road noise, rough ride"

RAYM S., MA (2013 Subaru Outback)

"I am surprised at the noise level of the motor. Even the Subaru dealer salesman said that Subaru hasn't been big on creature comforts in the past. It helped that he was honest. It is quiet enough to carry on a conversation, and much quieter than my minivan, just expected much less engine noise."

JILL B., NE (2013 Subaru Outback)

"The climate controls are placed too low, forcing your eyes off the road for longer than it should. A safety factor"

It's not a must, can live without either, but when there is a good snowfall, it just makes it easier. 2013 models and up got the revised EG series motor, so engine oil leaks have not been an issue."

James H., MD (2013 Subaru Outback)

"It is a very versatile car and is very spacious, especially the back. It has a great cargo space. The car also has great visibility. It is easy and pleasant to drive. However, at the beginning we experienced excessive oil consumption (we did not know that there had been a recall in this regard). Sometimes, the car rattles and squeak in the city. The climate control is weak - it does not provide sufficient heat, especially for rear passengers."

"This car worked well for first 50,000 miles, and since then we have been plagued with oil consumption issues. Glad I had an extended warranty which covered replacement of both rear wheel bearing assemblies and the rear camera system. Oil consumption is very frustrating; currently add 1 qt. per 1500 miles. Subaru has not done a good job with this problem."

"Reliable, well engineered product that does what it's supposed to do, good 4 wheel drive in snow."

Anonymous, FL (2013 Subaru Outback)

"For less cost than most other wagons and comparably sized SUVs I couldn't be more pleased with the versatility, cargo room, sporty ride, tight turning radius, high road clearance, performance in all types of bad weather, comfort including leg, hip and headroom, CUV transmission with paddle shifters, swing-away roof rack rails, simplicity of dash, knobs and controls, folding/reclining rear seats, heated driver and passenger front seats, seat shape and support, dash and console lighting, broad and even spread of headlights, brights and fog lamps, distinct separation of turn signal lamps from head and tail lamps so as other drivers can clearly see my intent to turn without having to squint, relative low cost of replacement tires, etc"

Seats are very comfortable, even for a shorter person, but my husband complains about the passenger seat (he's tall). The rear seats are extremely comfortable and have a fold down center padded armrest with cupholders. It isn't too large or small, is easy to park , and was under $30K fairly loaded."

Styling

How it looks inside and out

What Owners Say

"It is a very well laid out interior, one exception is the passenger seat, it tilts back, making the knees higher than your back causing stress on the muscles in your hip area. We have constructed a cushion to change the angle. Subaru should make a passenger seat the tilts up and back to alleviate this problem"

JOHN G., OR (2013 Subaru Outback)

"They restyled the Outback a couple of years ago. It now has the same lines as several other cars from Kia to |BMW. It has lost its distinctive SUV appearance"

Anonymous, ON (2013 Subaru Outback)

"I do not like the styling of the interior! The dash is black while the rest of the interior is tan. I live in the SW and the black dash makes the car very hot in the summer. Also I don't like the looks of the two-tone interior. I almost didn't but the car because of the black dash."
