Mark A., WA (2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek Premium 2.0-L 4 Cyl)"Front brakes needed replacing"
Anonymous, BC (2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek Limited 2.0-L 4 Cyl)"Pads & rotors were worn excessively, not the fault of Subaru, but rather from the vehicle being parked (not driven) over two one month periods (total of two months). The rotors rusted and then wore down the pads prematurely (51,000 miles). It also ruined the rotors from excessive wear. The front pads should have lasted for at least 80,000 miles & the rears for 175,000 miles"
David C., MI (2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek Premium 2.0-L 4 Cyl)"rear brake pads worn out at 29000 miles"

Victor H., OH (2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek Limited 2.0-L 4 Cyl)"Rear brake pads got too thin and damaged rotors, requiring replacement. Previous service checks said they were OK"
Anonymous, MA (2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek Limited 2.0-L 4 Cyl)"Rotors had rusting & premature pad wear at 30K checkup. Subaru grind-ed out rust and replaced pads under warranty"
Mark A., WA (2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek Premium 2.0-L 4 Cyl)"I have discussed this "issue" in detail. The moral of the story is don't let your vehicle set idle during the summer months, when it's humid & damp. In this case I had no choice as I had Knee & Hip replacement (at two different times), and could not drive my vehicle"
David C., MI (2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek Premium 2.0-L 4 Cyl)"Squeaking noise then sounded like something rubbing and dragging on the ground. Checked under car and nothing dragging. Stopped driving it. Had right back wheel bearing and bearing assembly replaced; pads and rotors replaced; calipers and caliper anchors cleaned and lubricated and oil change done and 32 point maintenance check done. Had oil change done while it was in there as it was time for it. I think the bearing went out because I had to take an extremely potholed back road to get to an appointment as the main road was closed for hydro wire work and it was the worst potholes I've ever had to drive through in over 50 years of driving."
