"Transition from electric to gas from a stop is clunky and uneven. 'Mild' hybrid yields little benefit in actual use. OEM tires were worn out at 20,000 - 25,000 miles. Original tires were out of balance at highway speeds. Complete lack of tow hooks or attachment points. Difficult to jack up due to very small jack points. Good acceleration and handling overall. Disappointing gas mileage."

"Under hard acceleration, in particular highway onramps or on steep inclines, the motor sometime pings. We use top tier, regular unleaded gas from stations that appear reputable. Subaru service could not reproduce the problem or find any problem."

"We are unable to find a driver seat position that provided comfort, it was always uncomfortable. In particular the armrests were too firm and not located well. We added gel pads to the armrests and center console to correct the positioning and comfort. Our prior car was a Nissan Altima and we fondly remember its comfort relative to this vehicle."

"Subaru stood out in general for their AWD system. Compared to other brands, Subaru came in much less expensive, and was the only brand to offer cars smaller than an SUV with all wheel drive. I take my Crosstrek on light off-road adventures a few times a year - nothing extreme, but enough that lower clearance cars would struggle - and it's been an absolute champ. In Colorado winters, the heated mirrors and wipers are great. I just turn on the car and start the defrosters, and by the time I finish wiping off the roof, the windshield's melted and ready to wipe off."

Subaru gave me a $500.00 voucher for any maintainence and or parts as long as the work was done in a dealership. I’ve never heard of any other car manufacturer doing anything similar."
